Peace

Jesus has come
With many a purpose
One of which
To bring peace
To a broken world

Many a sinner
Complicates his mission
Never does he give
Always he tries
To free us

We are the reason
That the world is broken
We try to fix
But only worsen
We need his help

Jesus came to save us
He fixes what we have broken
He heals our scars
He frees all of us
From the horrors that hell brings

Satan’s power
Pales in comparison
Jesus, surrounded in his glory
Shall save us again
From all that Satan brings

Peace is what the lord brings to us
To free us
We are free
From Satan
We are at peace

A Message From God

God’s message
Is like a whisper in your ear
We hear it
Yet we misunderstand

He gave me a view
Of our future not yet seen
He showed me peace
In another world

Heaven
Is that paradise
In which we will live
For eternity

God’s message
Showed me an angel
Who spoke to the world
Of a new beginning

For those who are lost
God’s message seems far
For they have not seen
The truth

God’s message
Gives solace to the grieving
They need the comfort
Of God’s words

God’s message
Grants people hope
That their loved ones
Will make it into Heaven

God’s message
Heard by the listeners
Is spread worldwide
To those who seek his comfort

No matter who you are
Or your country of origin
God’s message
Will lead you to Heaven one day

Silence

Silence
The unknown
Words not spoken

Silence
A veil
Over forbidden ground

Silence
Protection
From words that hurt

Silence
The high road
In any argument

Silence
A sign
Of stubbornness

Silence
There is no need for words
To display our feelings

Silence
The truth
In simple gestures

Silence
Not standing up
For what is right

Silence
An understanding
Words may hurt

Silence
Knowing
When to keep quiet

Silence
Tends to be
Louder than words

New Paradise

Holy Lord
Keeper of his word
Has built a paradise for all eternity
He keeps us in his heart
He protects us with his glory
We are safe in his presence
His paradise lies above all else
To keep us warm
To keep us safe
To keep us free
From the influence of Satan
We are free in God’s arms
We shall be saved by our Lord
Satan’s evil shall not reach us
Hell is not our domain
The Lord shall destroy Satan
The Lord shall destroy those against his holy word
God’s touch is like that of a father’s
He is our father
Our heavenly father
His word shall protect us
His word shall open the eyes of many
Not all will die
We are taken with his arms
Into heaven
Into paradise after the final war
The war between good and evil
There will be heaven on Earth
Grasses swaying in the breeze
Trees seen for miles
Animals long dead seen alive and well
A castle sitting on a cliff
Like the castles of old
Water surrounding everything
God within his kingdom
Jesus on his right hand
We praise God’s holy name
He has saved us
He will continue to save us
He will not abandon us
We are his children

The Beginning of the End

The Darkness approaches with no light in sight
He appears from above in a rainbow of light
He rides a white horse down from heaven above
He pulls a sword from his mouth to ward off evil
When evil surrounds him
Only he will triumph

Peace will come to those who love him
Punishment will await those who deny him
Before rebirth, destruction reigns
Then, there will be much to gain
Heaven on Earth
The Lord shall reign

The devil, the devil, leader of darkness
Will fall to the pureness of God
When Satan does fall
Light will come
To swallow up the evil

The world covered in light
An angel shining from above
The angel shall come
To speak of a new world
A world without evil
A world without pain
A new world shall begin!

Qualities of a True Life

Life
Is what we make it
When we change it, it’ll always remain

Death
When it comes, we shall not fear
For we have eternity

Home is where we are
Where we live
Where we pray

The Homeless are those who are lost
They have yet to be found
They have yet to believe

Love those we care for
Those who care for us
Unconditionally

Those who don’t love are filled with emptiness
They are hollow shells
Of what we are

Courage
Is to know what to do
To follow God even at great cost

Those without courage
Don’t know where to turn
They don’t know how to ask for forgiveness

Faith
Is to believe what you cannot see
Because you know the truth

Those without faith
Find it hard to believe
They are told many things but lack a true path

Wisdom
Is to know that you lack knowledge
Compared to God we know nothing

Those without wisdom
Think they know it all
They don’t know that only God knows everything

Peace is what we feel
When we are loved
By our God

Those without peace
Find it impossible to relax
They can’t calm down and be free

To Suffer

Men fall
Women die
Children weep
Over what used to be their parents
Lying in streets
Charred bodies
Killed without mercy
Killed without reason
No salvation
Within this nation
No limits
To destruction
No companionship is gained
The people of this world
They are lost
They are misguided
They attack
All of our rights
All of our freedoms
We have no safety in our world
We have no safety in our life
Disembodied souls embark on a different journey
They have left us
They watch us
They listen to our sorrows
They are not gone
Not forever
Nothing is forever
Not even death
Death is new life
In a different form
It is freedom
It is salvation
It gives new life
For eternity
No one shall die

Questions of Death

I know death
In a way others don’t
Is it there
Is it strong
Is there pain
When others are gone?
Do we fear
What is there
What we cannot change
Death is the beginning
For there is no end
For a child
Is death there?
A child knows naught
What death can do
Death is pain
Death is suffering
But with death
New life begins
The future unveiled
Amongst our first breath
Death grows near
Every new day
Brings death closer
For a day passed
Is a day older
A day closer to death
But as I said
Is death real?
No one knows
What life unveils

The Power of Light

When the end does come
There will be no sorrow
New life is born out of the light

An angel shines
Speaking of peace over the world
Secrets are told

A rainbow-like light
One of the two
Covers the world in its rays

God shines that light
To speak to us
He shows us his glory in many ways

So as I sit here
Silent and still
The Lord tells me to write
I shall follow his will

Always

He is here
He shall come
He will melt the hearts of our enemies
He loves them
As he loves us
He is with us always
We are here
We shall come
To meet him
To greet him
We live in him
We follow him
We love him always
Why we are here
We shall not know
Until it is time for him to tell
God leads us in his ways
He loves us, we his children
He loves those who anger him
He loves those who struggle to find him
His love never falters
He saves us every day
He leads us
From temptation
From darkness
From the desire to do harm
We, his children, shall never deny him
How could we?
We were sworn to him
From the moment of our birth
We shall stay with him
We will be together always
