Owl

Timeless as the galaxy
friendly as a Flower.
Loving like a momma cub
Defensive as a father.
Brilliant blue eyes
wondering like the waters.
Effortlessly changing
like the moon changing the tides.
Love Burning bright
like a comet in the sky.
Heart still broken
Unreadable through the lines.
One day healing
Like a dessert no longer dry.

High School

Ring, Ring, Ring.
    Shower.
    Eat.
Say good bye to the parents.
    Put on the mask.
    Ride the bus.
    Learn.
    Go Home.
    Eat.
    Shower.
    Sleep.

Dark Hole

Eyes open yet I still feel asleep.
A walking zombie looking through the window at the life I could have.
One simple step through the clean air could rehabilitate my lounges.
Yet the smell of death has grown to accustomed to my senses to let go.
Why must one life end for the start of another.
why does the good always come before the bad.
Why am I still looking through the same window wishing the same things day after day.
what is life if the rain is my home,
if the darkness is my life.
I dont want to feel new,
I dont want to roll out of bed.
I need the darkness, just like the darkness needs me.
Nothing could change what I have become.

The man who wishes will always wish, the man who does will always have, and the man who thinks shall have them both.

Forgiveness

The Time Machine was never built.
The reset button never appeared.
The days kept going and never slowed down.
Oh what a fool I was, to act so tall and proud.
To be taught so young you don’t ask for help, you dig in deep and bury those thoughts.
But my roots stopped growing and began to rot.
A sapling wouldn’t know the consequences he made, would still haunt him today.
As a fully grown tree.
Alone in a field.
Never was such a mysterious word.
Until I grew up and understood its true meaning.
Never have I forgotten the memories we made.
I was just a young sapling.
I’m sorry my friend.

Forever

I dance where no man has traveled,
The land where no dream unravels.

I sit on a fountain of youth,
yet age faster then the fountain can produce.

I sing within a castle so vast,
yet never see the the beauty within.

I feel the waves crash from the sea,
yet never have seen the ocean.

I smell the earth and all its beauties,
yet I was never born.

Silent Sleeper

Deep in thought,
alone in the dark.
Traveling amidst,
the starry filled night.
Whispers about,
the native tongue.
Who can speak,
the travelers mind.
Empty motions,
trapping my thoughts,
the key to your life,
is to love yourself.

Art

Love cannot be seen as a form.
Yet lovers can be seen enamoring one another?
Just as birds can fly in the sky,
And grass can grow green on the other side.
What if trees grew from the sky,
And birds flew in the ocean?
Would you then see the world from my eyes?
