Christy Grace Poem
In the ring alone,
Gloveless and silent
The competitor walks down
Challenge in his eyes
Is that what he wants
Who is better, who's stronger
It is my ring now,
I'm in the centre
Yet putting on his gloves
He steals the middle
Interrupting my silence,
My gloveless moment
And I just stand firm
I will not give in
Blow me, black me out,
I will still remain gloveless
In their corner, far away
I won't challenge by a fight
My soul may not feel alright
But I will still stand firm
I will avoid the wrestle

Christy Grace Poem
Step, step, step
You see your feet move forward
But you move nowhere and nowhere can be found
Your feet feel heavy, what once felt light
The ease of trampling now seems like a dark night
Air, cold and chilly, challenges you forward
It pushes you to feel a warmth never felt before
Touch the dream, taste the feel
In order to move anywhere you must push the air
The apple falls from the tree due to gravity
But to pick it up and taste its juiciness,
You must defy that gravity
It is the time to defy gravity and move from the rut
To shake off the dust and be prepared to experience the new
To move, feel light and free
Up, up, up
This is how we step, step, step
Away from a hole that holds us back
Because beyond the hole,
An adventure waits to lighten our step
Let the excitement push the load
And step, step, step
