Say

Say it loud,
Say it clear,
Say it with me.

Say you’re free,
Of the icky bio,
The unpleasant experience,
That you once entangled
And hardly escaped
Yet joyful smiling

For it bequeathed vigor
Onto thee
Bestowed honor upon misery
And shaped a man from a lad.

Say you’re a gentleman,
With eager for success,
A mind to impress,
An ability of a striver,
With a will of giving,
A risk to all,
For what it’s worth.

Mercy

Mercy Mercy Mercy

You’re the most beautiful being I’ve seen,
A glance of your face nourishes me within

The sound of your voice
Accelerates the beat of my heart

The freckles beneath your round eyes
Weakens every limb in my body

It pains me to not compliment
On your curved body
Your dolly face
Your risqué walk

Thus I complain
While am locked in my room
On how life is so unfair

Why wouldn’t I just have even that least?
Of what Lincoln, Martin, Mandela, Rosa had

Just a bit of that courage
To stand and face you
And tell you how much
I adore you, like you and love you

Tell you how much I would give to have you
Tell you how big a world you mean to me

Just a bit of that courage I’d wish
For my life to give
And certainly not this grieve

Mercy, Mercy, Mercy,
It’s the song, the feeling and the name
That I call out silently on your presence

Mercy, Mercy, Mercy

Matters of the Heart

Narrow was the path I walked
Filled with gravels and stones
The people it surrounded were all but illiterate
Gifted with all knowledges
But lack the heart

Thus I stand before you
Neither with pride nor ego
But a sabotaged brain pleading for the heart
For it has never felt love and had to show it in return

Forgive on how I behaved
For I thought too much and felt too little
I learnt all the mechanism of the heart
Yet this knowledge is nothing but strange to me

But I swear on the very heart that
Not another day on this earth shall pass
That I won't be a slave for your love

Unfortunate

Did I not,
give you the benefit of the doubt,
when you wept in tears,
seeking for sincerity,
when the world seemed cruelty.

Did I not,
contribute and showered thee with presents,
in all stages of thy maturity,
and wished you for prosperity,
when none showed love.

Did I not,
stand beside you,
laughed and cried with you,
hugged you,
when you needed it the most.

Did I not,
made you feel beautiful,
made you feel smart,
made you feel content and blissful,
when you felt down.

Was it not,
enough to make you see,
enough to make you feel,
enough to make you realize,
the love I hold dearly.

Was it not,
Even by a bit,
enough to make you love me the same,
enough to make you stay,

for I never requested much,
but just for you to give me,
your pain and sorrows,
so I could hear and see you laugh,
For it is more than enough,
to cure my fragile heart.

Thus I hope in the next life,
We'll meet again,
Then maybe I'll be good enough,
To have you for the rest of that eternal life

Diiemma

Words,
Hard to find
And even harder to express
They demand alot
Patience
Meticulousness
Regardless the depth or the length

I love words
Their structure
The beauty in their meanings
The pain they can inflict
And the solace they bring

See I found a different way
Of sharing my words
In silence and in writings

In silence I struggle
Cause it's mostly misunderstood
Some deem it rude
Some immature

In writings I flow
Endlessly enamoured with their beauty
But it's never enough
After all, a still picture says lots

Dream

Dream!

A five letter word,
to some an illusion,
to some its madness
to some a misconception,
others it’s an alternate reality.

I had a dream,
not the Luther's kind,
Nevertheless it was my dream,
A very simple dream,
of every common man.

I dreamed of a good job,
a beautiful wife and kids,
a nice house to settle in,
that was my dream,
that was my alternate reality.

But the world isn't a paradise for everyone,
and like that of every common man's dream,
mine too was an utter illusion.

Heart Whispers

He desperately questioned as he took her warm palms to his,
"Would you love me the same way I'd brave the world for you?"

"Love is fickle and fleeting," she quoted.

One point it's an emotional food,
And then it withers away like a neglected house plant.
Mine's heart is too exhaustive to such tides.

But smooth seas do not make skillful sailors," he replied.

She smiled.
