Believe

The scarf, on my head,
Everyday, I beg.
To Allah, and His Messenger,
Am I not one of His?

I Obey!
I Respect!
I Pray!
I Believe!
I Proclaim!

Is it all out of nature?

Five times in a day,
I Pray,
Bowing down to Allah,
I Beg.

The Decency of my nature,
Leads me into a venture,
Simultaneously, a juncture,
That I, conjecture.

My Believe in Allah.
My Pride in Islam.

Lemons

I look up to the future,
Full of determination.
Now in the present,
Will i pass that examination?

Some live by the day,
Others sit and pray,
What is my way?
Answer that question.

I question my being,
Why?
I don't know.
Answer that question.

I dream of a future,
Full of peace.
Now in the present,
Do i rest in peace?

Bio

Malyun, such a unique name, people say.
I am sure out of kindness, they say,
Weird, that is my name.

Silent at times,
Loud most times,
My silence is definitely loud, they say.
Unique, that is trait.

Story telling, my passion,
I really like passion fruits,
With sugar and spice,
A bit like my life.

A law student, by profession,
Knowledgable, by aggression,
Intelligent, by comprehension,
That is who, i choose to be.

For fun, i bake,
From cookies, to cakes,
Other times, i write,
Poems, that are my life.

Short lines, unlike myself,
All used, to describe myself,

Terror Within Peace

I sense everyone’s eyes on ME,
Instead, I look down upon MYSELF,
Forgetting no opinion matters but I,
My decision to look to you,
Infused, within me, terror of THEM,
Doing nothing, to calm my heart

Astoundingly, remorse seemed to vanish,
Converted to a renewed determination,
It was all rather inevitable,
Bound to happen they say,
Silver lining, through the dark

Reality is too vivid,
Dangerous clouds forming over,
Abruptly, for a millisecond,
I look at THEM!

I see nothing;
Absolutely Nothing, Fear
Starts creeping back…

Glassy eyes,
Worry, Fatigue

Peace!
