Johndinsky Official Poem
There's plastic in the ocean
Plastic in the sea
There's plastic in the boatyard
Plastic in the bay
There's plastic in the gut of a turtle
Plastic in a mantaray
There's plastic in a gilt-head bream
Plastic in it's prey
There's plastic in a Landfill
Plastic in a seagull
There's plastic in the foodchain
Plastic in our DNA

Johndinsky Official Poem
In the corner of Cyber cafe
Bloodshot eyes stare into the abyss
Web connected
And disconnected from society
He never sleeps
Lost in the glare of the screen.
All night, blue light and shadows
He lives in the game
Lives off sugar and aspartame
Overdosed on chemicals
He escapes the horror of the world outside
Through the horror in the machine

Johndinsky Official Poem
8:15
The island ferry rumbles at the port
A stream of tourists scramble from the rear
As the sun goes down behind the concrete
Taxi doors glow in colours that can't be
Bought, sold or caught.
8:53
The Oil truck rumbles at the port
A stream of sweat with the change of gear
5 attempts to scramble up the drawbridge
And an empty bottle of beer
Glowing like an emerald on the wall

Johndinsky Official Poem
Are you living for another life
Which may never come
And if it does
Will you spend the next life
Living for another one?

A Vampire in Greece
Bitten by the mosquitoes
- Now knows how it feels

Johndinsky Official Poem
Menu
- Prawn eyeballs - as black as a hole in space
- Alien squid - with face hugging tentacles
- Martian Octopus head - eerily out of place
- Flying saucer seabass - sci-fi Metallic
- Prawn antennae - picking up signals from planet X
- Lobster claws - armoured like a Mech
- The Blob – Drowned in acid
- Shrimp - nuclear pink
- Rows of reptilian fish - Morbidly staring ahead

Johndinsky Official Poem
A Greek flag torn
Flailing in the warm winds
From the Orthodox dome
Church bells toll
A roadside lizard pauses
By the bins

Johndinsky Official Poem
Up the mountain
The forest hides a fountain
Escape the summer madness,
In cool shade
Ice cold water
Glides through my fingers
Senses awake
A gushing melody Under Ottoman shapes
There's light on the surface
Even oppressors
Leave relics to impress us
This oasis of calmness sedates

Johndinsky Official Poem
The old gods were aliens
Imparting knowledge from the sun
They built the ancient wonders
and once again they'll come
Tonight I'll climb the fence
at the temple of Poseidon
I'll be waiting
While the world is sleeping
- Tomorrow I'll be gone

Johndinsky Official Poem
The blue light of the late shop
A tired face in the aquarium glow
Hands reaching for cigarettes
and cold drinks
Artificial consolation
For those lost
in the night world
