Lost

Emotions soar through my mind, 
Making pure thought hard to find. 
   Lost in this world all alone, 
Feeling like a robotic drone. 
   Trying to sort through what there is, 
To make my life somewhat easier to live. 
   Confused and wandering in a daze,
My life is a giant cloud of haze. 
   My mind is drifting down an endless road, 
Bouncing around like a crazy toad.
   Unaware of what the future holds, 
I stand my ground and try to be bold. 
   Emotions are roaring, 
My mind just keeps soaring. 
   Wondering just how long it will last,
I guess it's stuck there to become the past. 
   I'll try to keep myself strong till the end, 
Until I cross over to meet old friends.
