Halli Miller Poem
The water is calm and still but I feel the movement of a single leaf plummeting on the surface of the water. The water so very silent I can hear a tiny tear drop collide with the water looking up a hopeless little girl begs for help but I don't know how.
My first steps the water feels cold the more I walk in the deeper it gets. As I stand in the water its no longer cold but comforting. As I stair in to the water I see the refection of the trees behind me. The water so mysterious who knows what lies beneath all I know is the grass and my feet.
As I walk out of the water my feet feel cold and bare. They no longer stand in the water where they stood before.
