Come you lonely bird!
-----
Walking forever in this same lonesome street!
Still waiting for my special someone to meet!
I have passed beyond the best of my years!
With each step forward, the blind end nears!
Know how far I've come, not what's left to go!
It has been hard all along, will it always be so?
Hear cheers in houses around my own silence!
I can't put up a fake smile, I know no pretense!
Sometimes I wonder was anyone made for me?
Or I had to live by myself, that were the way to be?
If you are one feeling deserted, join me in my walk!
I want to hear your stories, and have mine to talk!
Come you lonely bird, let's together make our nest!
We'll travel the walkways of life till we're put to rest!

You're my lady, made for me!

I swear to you there could never ever be!
In this whole world, as far as I could see!
Someone else who could be my soul-mate!
Except you, most precious gift of my fate!
Before we even met, I had known you forever!
Since times began, we had been apart never!
From nothing, you changed me to everything!
My queen of hearts, just with you I am a king!
You are my world, you're the love of my life!
You are my sweetheart, O my prettiest wife!
Let me yet once more get down on my knee!
To say you are my lady, who is made for me!

You and I make the rainbow!
------------------
You know dear why I love rain?
It washes away my soul's strain!
My hair fall free to go with the flow!
My face lights up, gets back its glow!
That's why I am letting me get wet!
I haven't got that dreamy feeling yet!
When water tickles under my feet!
Dribbling drops form a dance beat!
The breeze around asks me to fly!
Even if I know I couldn't, I still try!
I go into another world, while I'm here!
The sky that's so far, to me it gets near!
While I am afloat, under the cloud's gazebo!
Not the raindrops, you and I make rainbow!

Because I am the only one!
-------------------
I can never be no one, because I am the only one!
Who is that unique me that's replaceable by none!
You say you could easily replicate me as my clone!
But it wouldn't be a real me, only one mere drone!
I am bonded into relationships with my kith and kin!
That wouldn't be just the same even if I had a twin!
I think and feel like no other does, you like it or not!
I have left my mark on the world, a soft sweet spot!
If I weren't there, a difference it would surely make!
What I have said and done, no one could ever fake!
When I am no more there, I might be soon forgotten!
I'd be woven in the thread of time, as a wisp of cotton!
The seeking eyes would always find me in my imprints!
Connect and my eternal presence will give you my hints!
I was there when we were created, I will be there forever!
Times and places would change, my identity would never!
So let us treasure each other as one of a kind, just as we are!
We all shine in the galaxy of creation, each one of us is a star!
Why should then we think of becoming adversaries not friends?
When we're paintings of the same colors in our distinct blends!
Let us live in eternal peace, whoever and wherever we may be!
Because we know we are are the only ones, whether you or me!

The wedlock rose!
----------------------
If our marriages are made in heavens, why are they broken in this world?
If we tie the knot for life, why so soon nothing is left to be said or heard?
You made me feel like the brightest star, now I'm under the darkest clouds!
My wedding dress with your dying love will be buried in divorce's shrouds!
I think I haven't changed, I am the same charming lady you loved so mad!
You tell me I'm not who you thought I was, how all good in me turned bad?
With you I were dwelling in the skies, in a galaxy of stars with the full moon!
Your change of hearts had me crestfallen, sending me down to this lagoon!
Holding the bouquet of fresh red roses you gave me bending on your knees!
Dropping their petals into water, I'm sending 'em on their separation journeys!
But once they are not the part of the flower, they'll lose their bloom and wither!
Just like we both are now lifeless statues, not the lively souls the way we were!
If only everyone who walks the aisle remembers that the wedlock is like a rose!
With so much fragrance, color and beauty, why'd a few thorns slit sacred vows?

Cupid's arrow hit a braggart!
------------------
Your sight stays in my eyes! Your undying love lives in my heart!
When you cry I shed tears! When you wince I'm struck by a dart!
We met for just one moment! In a glimpse our love story did start!
How can our souls be so close! When we are a whole world apart!
You entranced me when our eyes met! Was it some charming art?
Since then I feel incomplete without you! A body without any heart!
I wish I'd told you I can't live without you! Asked you not to depart!
I keep waiting when you'll return! You're my life, O my sweetheart!
When friends talked about love at first sight, I shrugged them apart!
I vowed it'd never happen to me! But Cupid's arrow hit a braggart!

Beauty is in everything that I behold all around!
I am just lost! Tell me when you have me found!
You say someone is ugly, I will aver that's lovely!
Your senses are earthly, missing what's heavenly!
We are more than a body, mind, heart and soul!
Ignore what meets your eye! See me as a whole!
If you take me for how I look, you are not for me!
When I need you most as I age, your love will flee!
See me without your eyes, if you like what you see!
I will believe in you, each other's we're meant to be!

I wish I weren't me!
---------------------------
I sometimes wish that I weren't me!
I were who I've always wanted to be!
A loving angel of the seventh heaven!
Chosen from seraphs of all the seven!
For my devotion to all the living souls!
In their suffering, who softly consoles!
Reaches instantly to whoever is in pain!
To give tender loving care most humane!
To look after dotingly for an ailing child!
To treat gently even the ones gone wild!
Even if I didn't have the powers to cure!
I could make sickness easier to endure!
Wherever I went, I took moments of joy!
With a soothing caress, or a magical toy!
My aura made grieving souls get a smile!
To keep it forever, not just to last a while!
I could enable infirm to independently live!
Instead of taking help, become able to give!
Not just I could heal bodies, also the minds!
Turn the impaired into a genius of a rare find!
In that quest I've worn a healer's white coat!
To do my little part though it's nothing of note!
I know I can never be who I've wanted to be!
But I can keep trying to become a better me!

We come to this world of surprises at a time we don't choose!
Not knowing if we'll get to a paradise or hell would break loose!
We are born to parents whom we yet have to know well enough!
We've no clue if our home is a cosy palace or cottage too rough!
Yet to discover who would be there among our family and friends!
If we will have many to pamper us or left on our own to meet ends!
Will we make it into the Ivy Leagues or ghetto streets be our schools?
To groom us into scholars for the academia or workmen using tools!
We don't even know if we'd be able-bodied and have a lucid mind!
Or ones with some special needs who depend on others to be kind!
Sent into the uneven terrains of life, we have a battle of survival to fight!
Told no matter how we are ambushed, never choosing wrong over right!
We see all kinds of folks, some playing by the rules and others free-style!
With foul play giving a winning edge, the righteous gets shaky for a while!
Some have all the odds on their sides and still prey on the hapless ones!
When sweet words could bring peace, they want to play with their guns!
We quietly see the humans being massacred, scream on shooting a bird!
Why listen to the divisive, not giving peacemakers a chance to be heard?
There are already lots of differences in what we are blessed with at birth!
Some are destined to live a life in misery, others always giggling in mirth!
It is not the gross inequalities we are born with, which agonize us the most!
What grieves us is how we share the bounties of world, that's our only host!
The hungry and poor don't ask for having every luxury in its perfect equality!
What those suffering souls need is just to afford a square meal with frugality!
We excel in our armchair lip-service, whether we are a politician or a nerd!
When we know it's our right, why don't we strive for a fair and equal world?
