He, She-We

He lied about his industry
and cut me to the heart

She tried to be a mystery
please, I'm way too smart

He had a way with levity
I always had a smile

She made a mean rotisserie
And that I won't deny

He swore that she was history
Oh! was that quite the ploy

She bore the mark of misery
I lavished her with every toy

He loved me with an artistry
The pleasure was such joy

She held my dreams so vividly
I became a man from a boy

He stabbed me with such accuracy
I bled then, I bleed now

She effected so much trickery
I became the rabbit and the bow

I hate you James for the misery
When love was all but ours

I hate you Jane for the hypocrisy
For you foiled the shuttered glass

I love you James for eternity
You're mine, you're mine, you're mine!

I love you Jane till infinity
Forever, you are mine...

The Trial of a Lord Part 1

Allow me explain
Brethren gathered here for
Custom dictates
Due process prevail
Exaggerated much
Flaws mine-as may seem
Granted the providence of evidence you see
Highly placed the source-allegedly
Inconceivable the idea that falsehoods they be
Jury decide-be it she or be it me
Kissing and telling discretely-of course
Listlessly I will you tell this tale, you see
My wife's mother's brother's valet-who doubles as mine
Noticed a queerness about this chambermaid fine
Opulent her head with silky tresses
Perfect her skin as nothing else is
Quenching a thirst as non I ever knew
Repugnant as I found the idea, true
Sacrifices always must be made for
The greater good of humankind sake
Ungodly as you all will agree this meeting between her and me
Vestments would not keep me away
Witchcraft! That's what we suspected for how else could I a Lord be so blinded
Xylophone music was all that I heard while headily begging for her hasty embrace
Yet how was this Lord ever to know that
Zealotry was for chambermaid's too?

The Shyster

Do it right-
Since you picked the fight,
Leave the bite!!!

Wasted Tears

Tears- never knew a home
So accommodating, like
Diamonds- cut with blood
So devastating the
Weakness- the marker of a soul
So Broken, by
Shame-in a mirage of a life
So Hopeless because of the
Meaninglessness-I carry with me
So futile these
Wasted-tears

The Paint On Your Wall

In the beginning it was chuckles, kisses and adoration
Your expression-smug, intense and bursting with admiration
I was the perfect blend of gilded taupe for your fixation
From a color palatte too vast and wide for your comprehension
Like the paint I was, I colored your life ensuring beautification
Of a crumbly house made of dough and eggs and putrefaction
Then one day you decided I was more the grey of the Great Depression
And the sentence worthy of my loving you was annihilation
So your love and care and company -gone! With no explanation!
Until with less regard for me than for a roach infestation
You left me out to dry in utter humiliation
Now as my tears have burned a path on my face, I feel a resolve in formation
A good sign of a new start from my soul exploration
Of my new found peace, my inner strength and utter elation
Of a life without you, much like a liberated nation
But just one thing before I head to my new destination
I wish you what you willed for me- god damnation!!

A Woman's Eyes

Eyes...
Misty Windows deceptively
Shielding Storms
Blowing radar-less boats within a
Woman

A Vision of the Night

When finally I behold the sight
A sinewy shadow, a vision of light
That holds captive both my joy and my fright
I then will drink from the cup of the night

Quiet, echoes of hills and mountains alike
Resounding, abounding forever my fight
As the walk of shadows in the deep of the night
The stillness complete and such a delight
That moment will come to pass alright

To bid thee fair well I may not or I might
As to the horizon my eyes turn and behold the sight
I say then to all good night, good night...

To Wing a Dream

Take a dream out the window
Uncover its hair
Let it fall to the abyss
Like a star on a dare

Does it laugh, does it cry
Does it even care?
That the one who holds it is living in fear?
Do its wings spread as it goes?
Is it stripped bare?
This dream out the window
That you held so dear

Let it go, it will flow, it will rise
It will share
Its potency, its power, its magical glare

Be sure it will happen, but only if you dare

Lost To Fire

My soul remembers you in effigy
A beautiful portrait of despair
Wrecking havoc on those whose eyes dare not open
Shattering the fragile bones on which the words were curved
A vignette, much like a siren's song
I will not look, I will not or else I will be ...
Lost

Hold Me For the Last Time

Hold me so I may forget
The first time I saw you and knew You were mine
Hold me so I may erase
The magical kisses and whispers of more
Hold me so I may believe
That this is the last time I'll feel you near
Hold me so I may profess
To hate you at least in my head
Hold me so I may understand
How a single heartbeat can split into a two
Hold me before
You tell me goodbye- cause once your out that door, they'll be no you and I
