I Refuse To Let Myself Down

Trying to build the confidence i was born to have,
I look in the mirror every day,
When I was younger I refused to look at myself,
Now I refuse to look the other way.

I refuse to let myself down.

You see there wasn't much to do to build my self esteem,
I just stopped letting people discourage me,
There's always going to be those people,
I just have to let it be.

I refuse to let myself down.

In the past I would try too hard,
I just made myself look like a moron,
I recently realized to just be myself,
And all the dumb stuff I did are now gone.

I refuse to let myself down.

I have recently closed a chapter in my life,
And there is so much in life I have to endure,
Self confidence is a big part of moving forward,
And an absolutely amazing cure.

I refuse to ever let myself down!

Stand With Israel

I go to bed at night,
And think of the Holy Land,
How they are in war,
And we need to stand by them hand in hand.

No matter what the media says,
Or the fact that most people don't even care,
We need to stand by Israel,
And be aware!

So I pray right now,
God's Kingdom really needs it,
For all who are involved,
And refuse to quit.

Everything in The Book,
Is starting to unfold,
So I advise all of you,
To read what was told!

STAND WITH ISRAEL!

Just Let It Go

Life is full of people,
Who like to discourage you,
They set you up to fail,
It's your decision to make yourself new.

Feeling the pressure,
Or feeling the pain,
Is something you have to get through,
To keep yourself from going insane.

Think outside the box,
And don't trap yourself inside,
You have a life to live,
Live it with pride.

Your past is behind you,
It's there to help you grow,
So keep it there,
And just let it go!

I Have Been Here For You From the Start

We have put too much time and effort,
To just give up right here,
We have done so much together,
Lets not think about the end being near.

We have gone through so much,
We have had so much fun,
You have to admit,
We can't be done.

We understand each other,
We can make each other smile,
We really need to move forward together,
And make this worth while.

I need you to understand,
And take into heart,
The reason we are together,
That I have been here for you from the start.

Truth Is

I don't know how crazy this is going to sound,
Coming from a guy,
But all of these years have passed,
And I cannot let all of these feelings I have for you blow by,

So truth is,
I never really fell out of love with you,
This may come as a bit of a surprise,
And you are probably wondering why this came out of the blue,

I was going through some messages the other day,
I didn't realize were still there,
And the things we said to each other (the way we felt),
I didn't realize I still care,

I am not sure if you feel the same way,
As I do,
Or if perhaps your favorite colors,
Are still purple, pink, red, and blue,

However I do feel strongly that,
Everything we had and wished,
It was all there,
And left unfinished,

Feelings like that,
They do not just go away,
So hear me out,
Because I think about you day after day,

These messages also made me realize,
There is a reason our relationships have not been on cue,
With other people (between then and now),
Because maybe we had some maturing to do,

Maybe we had to get hurt,
Once or more,
To make us realize,
There is no sense in fighting a war,

So truth is we have each other,
I cannot say this enough,
But trust me when i say,
I still do believe that best friends fall in love.

Thank You Jesus

From the moment I surrendered all,
Christ has lived in me,
It started over a year ago,
That is when I had really been set free.

I had moments in my life,
I had been introduced to Jesus,
I had felt the Holy Spirit,
But a lot of truth I continued to miss.

I had a lot of distractions,
Also some addictions and some pain,
I didn't realize it was as simple,
As speaking the Gospel unashamed.

One day it just hit me,
That everything Jesus had done for human,
It was all in vain,
And victory had won!

Those chains I had,
Yeah they broke off of me,
As easy as one, two, three,
One by one they had broken free!

No longer has the devil ruled me,
No longer does he have any tempting,
Because in my life,
Death has lost its sting!

From the time he was born,
To the time he resurrected,
I can't thank Jesus enough,
It's amazing everything he did!

THANK YOU JESUS!

What Is Love

Love is accepting someone
For who they are,
They should shine in your life,
Like a brightened morning star.

Love is being there for someone,
When they are down and upset,
Holding them tightly,
And leaving them with not one regret.

Love is spilling your feelings out,
To one another,
And having compassion
For each other.

Love is having faith,
And having trust,
Because without these two,
The relationship turns into dust.

I'm here to tell everyone,
That if you really love one another,
Then you should be treated,
Like no other.

I Have a Future To Fill

It never caught me by surprise,
I was expecting it,
But sense it ended,
It was my conscience that you lit.

I can't stop thinking,
We lasted less than a season,
But it's okay,
Because we happened for a reason.

From the start,
I noticed a difference in you,
Something I never saw before,
It was like something completely new.

I still don't completely understand,
I don't know if I ever will,
But I'm not letting it bother me,
I have a future to fill.
