This Is What You Mean To Me

You are a light at the end of a tunnel
that shines so bright that leads me to safety in the night.
You are a blanket of fleece
that wraps around me holding me tight
reassuring me it will be alright.
You are a flower so strong and bright blowing from left to right,
your fragrance so pure in flight on a warm spring night.
This is what you mean to me.

When you speak to me with such a might,
I know that I have not done right.
Your voice rumbles like a storm in the night.
When you speak to me softly after a smite,
it’s like a bird singing to me telling me all will be alright.
Now I know wrong from right.
This is what you mean to me tonight.

When you are having that gloomy day
the one you can’t shake away,
just think of that special woman
you adore waiting for you
as soon as you walk through that door.
Not the one atop the Christmas tree,
but the angel that stands next to thee through sickness and health.
The one that was a gift from God,
this is how you measure your wealth.
This is what you mean to me.

The one who stands besides you and fights,
the one who loves you whether you’re wrong or right.
This is the women I love.
My angel sent from above.

THIS IS WHAT YOU MEAN TO ME.

Just Breathe

"Just Breathe"

Life is hard, life is tough, life is full of other stuff. It throws you curve balls
and never a straight strike. You just know things aren't going to turn out right.

Just close your eyes, inhale, and just breathe. No it is not a wise tale, it will
never fail. This is just another way we exhale.

The day you see that one that takes your breath away. The one you know you
can't live without, the one you have no doubt. Without a second glance its true
romance. Just breathe and know they are the one for me. The one you want to
join your family tree.

That beautiful day the one that will make a mark in your life and you will ask her
to be your wife. As you are on that one knee hoping she will agree. Looking her
straight into her baby blues, she agrees to marry you.

It's judgment day, the day you have waited for in every way. As you wait your
turn to enter, you are reviewing the things you have not done for the better. A
hand rest on your shoulder. In a deep voice he leans over and whispers in your
ear. For I am the lord you don't have to fear for you will live here with me,
so Just breathe!!!

I Love You

I Love You!

Love is introduced into a world with no expectations or qualifications.
It is like God with no verification just a thought.
Just a feeling of hope and prayer a belief that floats in the air.

Love has no bias, or prejudice.
It clings to your soul looking for that one, that other, that song, the words of
another.
Love has a goal, one plus one makes a whole.

Love holds on with all of its might.
It digs in deep, opens the most darkest spaces and warms the hearts coldest
places.

Love is blind, love is not controlled by the mind, love has many strings that
controls many things.
For a start it surges through your heart, then to your lips, where those three
words are spent, only meant for two.
 I LOVE YOU!

My Life

MY LIFE

My life is so out of balance tears run from my eyes
and run like fresh rain from a window pane.
My life is out of control like a tumbleweed blowin in the wind
just traveling in any direction I'm not sure of my destination.
My life I spend running from one hand to the other
leaving chaos and pain for another trying to figure out
which heart will love me forever.
My life, I ask one question?
When will I stop running and causing so much pain
my life is like water going down a drain.
Lord please, help me pick the right person
the right heart and help me understand
how to tell them apart. Just let me have that fresh-start.

The Butterfly

The butterfly

With the breeze blowing and the sun shining
the flowers are growing. God's finger print floating in the air.
It's colors are rich a creature never to fear.
It starts out a caterpillar than a beautiful creature that takes air.
The butterfly opens its wings and wonders free
it's the most beautiful thing you'll ever see.

I Just See You In All of Me

I JUST SEE YOU IN ALL OF ME!

When my eyes open from the sun peering through
the window so bright, it's ray's dancing on my skin.
I feel you holding me close and tight,
I just see you in all of me.

In a field of flowers dancing in the breeze and
birds chirping from the trees and breathe taking colors of
blues, pinks, and greens. Looking out as far as I can see
with a sweet fragrance and the sound of buzzing bees,
I just see you in all of me.

As I skip a rock across the river in the ripples I can see
a beautiful picture of you and me.
Our lips touching and our hands caressing one another
this is the shadow that's casting from the water.
This is what I see. The most beautiful being.
I just see you in all of me.

Prayers With Confession

Prayers with Confusion

After the sixth day god had created the heavens, earth and man.
The seventh day, god lay. He looks up as he rest his head and
what did he see? Nothing just darkness and open space.
He just wondered and stared at a blank canvas with nothing there.

With continued interruption from the voices of words
with indiscretions. God's head was filling with desperate pleas
of man in need. These prayers were people's thoughts of
worship and repent. The holiest and brights words, god holds
closest to his beating heart in his holy chest.

God commands, with the words of amen at the end of a confusion.
A star will glow and appear for they will know I have forgiven
there sin and their soul will be cleansed.

Look Into My Eyes

Look into my eyes.

Look into my eyes and you will see a halo with a beautiful
pair of wings of heavenly white and a pure heart with a loving soul.
This is what you see when I am looking at you as a whole.

Look into my eyes and see the glow of your beautiful soul.
You will see your heart of gold with your wings of sincerity
that holds my soul. This is what you see when you look in my
 eyes of clarity.

On a Dark, Dark, Night

On a dark, dark, night

On top of the hill on a dark,
dark night sets a house with no light,
which is quite a fright on Halloween night.

The windows covered with a shadow
                      shining from the moon light.
Blowing in the wind on a breezy night.
This keeps the creepy crawly things hidden from site.

I reach the porch and what do I see, maybe a
ghost, goblin, or something ready to get me.
I just know it's something that goes bump in the night.
As I look through the door with that old rotten floor in
a dark, dark room it's a black cat.

That's the thing that was going bump in the night
this was what was causing such a fright on this Halloween night.

Holidays With a Change In the Weather

Holidays with a change in the weather

It starts with a chill in the air. January the first day of the first month. A new thought of expectations, a new way, a plan to get in gear, a perfect way to start a new year.

February the month we confess and show our love with a quote, some flowers, some chocolate , or even a love note. This month is for couples to show their love with snuggles. It's Valentine's Day the most affectionate month to let the other know we care. The only month with a leap year.

March the month where it is all about four cloves, leprechauns, pots of gold, and green beer. St Patrick's Day the greenest holiday of the year, it's the arrival of a new season saying bye to the snow and watching the start of new things to grow.

April's first day of tricks and jokes on different folks. Easter Sunday, children hunting eggs of color under rocks and tall grass hiding under cover. Knowing April's showers help grow May flowers.

Its the month we celebrate the first day of May, then onto the 5th Cinco de Mayo a Mexican holiday. Then we celebrate Mothers and Memorial Day, thank God for their wisdom and the men and women for our freedom.

The red, white, and blue the flag with
stars, stripes celebrated in the month of June. The month we pay tribute to our Fathers along with the first day of summer. It's time for the end of school and the start of playing in the pool.

I pledge allegiance to the flag, when the Rockets set glare and bombs bursting in the air. The 4th day of July a time for barbecues and bottle rockets to fly. Thanks to our forefathers the time our Independence was signed.

August when it's the hottest month and it has National Watermelon and S'mores day. A month with out holidays. Summer is winding down and the start to school is coming around.

September's Labor Day, the working men and women's holiday, we give thanks to all you do. Then the most terrifying day when our men and women's lives were taken away, 911 the remembrance of our loved one's in a horrible way. As summer sneaks away autumn is on its way we celebrate grandparents and Native American day.

October, Columbus found out the world wasn't flat but actually round. The leaves fall from the trees and cover the ground. Halloween, tricker treat smell my feet witches and goblins on every street going neighbor to neighbor collecting and filling their bags with sweet treats.

All Saints day a Christian holiday. The first day of November Then on our way to election day. Then we stopped on the 11th to observe our veterans the men and women who gave us life, liberty, and the ultimate sacrifice. We set around the table eating turkey, Thanksgiving a day we are joined friends and family being together. Thanking God for the years blessing and endeavors.

December's with the shortest day and winter is here to stay with children sledding and snowman making and counting down to the 25 day Christmas is on its way. The day is here the children hope to hear Santa and his reindeer. It's now the last day its here and everybody cheers on a new year
