'till Death Us Do Part

It's easy to kill
a relationship.
-don't talk!

It's easy to kill a relationship.
-Don't walk
together.

Scan the grass on the other side.
It's always greener
-from a distance!
Choose separate paths.
Travel alone
or build a home
away from home.

Don't give!
Stand on your right!
Fight!
Paint a black picture.
Spoil
a reputation.
Tear your own house down.

It's easy to kill a relationship
and sometimes.....
it's just as easy
to build it!

The Master Mind - Ephesians

He masterminded the human race
and made our home to be
His place.
    Outside His garden
    the hungry crave
    the fruit of life
    not knowing…
    He left His grave
    clothes in the tomb
    and in His life
    there is a womb
    where thirst is quenched.

With open arms
He welcomes all
and spreads a feast
that shatters walls
around the heart.

A storehouse rich
with special gifts
grows His love
to heal the rifts
and like the hen
who gather’s her chicks
He lights the wicks
of kinsmanship.

He masterminded the ancient plan
to bring together from every land
the choicest gifts:
flowers of earth immortalized
filled with power
to be bouquet'd
ribboned with the blood of grace.
He Masterminded the Master's race.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness undercuts the pain
growing fruit beyond the brain’s
ability to see in full.....
Spiralling a web of care
that wipes away
the hate in fear.
Binding up a broken soul
forgiveness fills the gaping hole.
Derailing evil from its path,
forgiveness
lightens up the heart.

Star Light

Truth
is the great Star
that leads the wise.

Honesty
a kiss on the lips
for those who prize
her favours.

But love
sees beyond the truth
to sprinkle
the star light
on dull earths.
