Why Baby Why

Why Baby Why?

Every time I see your face,
it makes me want to cry.
From the moment that we met,
until the night we said goodbye.

Your smooth dark skin, wavy hair
and big brown flashing eyes.
When you told me that you loved me,
was that one of your first lies?

You used to be so kind to me,
you made me feel like gold.
But you changed your ways and done me wrong,
it was like I was bought and sold.

You smiled at me and made me weak,
was it all a great big game?
The way you walked, the way you talked,
the way you called my name.

What happened to us baby,
you never really said.
I thought you really cared for me,
was it only in my head?

Now you left me all alone,
whatever will I do?
The times we shared, the love we made,
how come I never knew?

Your with another woman now,
I see you most every day.
Sometimes I think I see you look,
was there something you what to say?

Maybe that you did me wrong,
and it was all a big mistake.
If that is it, I hate to say,
I think your much too late.

I've learned my lesson when you left,
I'll never give my heart again.
You hurt me bad and that's no lie,
I don't think I will ever mend.

Maybe when I'm old and gray,
I'll stop my thoughts of you.
When they ask me what went wrong,
I'll say I never knew.

The Color of Love

The Color of Love

What is the Color Love?

Red- Hot and Fiery or Angry and Mean?
Blue- Comfortable and Warm or Depressed and Sad?
Yellow- Bright and Sunny or Mellow and Cautious?
Green- Alive and Growing or Molded and Forgotten?
Orange- Changing with the Seasons or Dying with the Autumn?
Purple- Sacred and Strong or Broken and Bruised?
Black- Endless as the Night or Hopeless and Empty?
White- Pure and Innocent or Blank as a piece of Paper.

What is the Color of Love?

As many colors as a box of crayons.
Some used only a few times,
while others use the whole box.
Some use them sparingly so that the points stay sharp,
others use them until they are used up.

What is the Color of Love?

Open a coloring book and see what you can create.
A masterpiece or scribble?
It's your choice.
It's your book.
