Heaven Somewhere (For All Hurricane Katrina Victims)

It is never meant for the sincerest of hearts to break,
The strongest of souls to suffer,
Or the deepest of lakes to dry...
We as sheep of God are promised the best of things,
Wealth beyond the sun,
Or sights that bring tears to the most pleasant eye..
So why get down in despair ?,
Thinking..
Damn the world cause nobody else will ever care.
Why get down in distress ?
Seeing as it is,
We in a "White Man's World",
Which means they want us to settle for the lesser of the less.
Keep your head up brother,
Stay strong now sister,
For we all are to keep faith and perserverance with us.
Smile when you see the moon,
Rejoice when the sun shines,
Forever keep God in your heart and in mind...
Never fall victim to doubts and losses,
Decisions that you thought were costless,
Or the evil thought from voices..
Press on and never be scared of tomorrow,
Don't
Be
Scared...
Cause there is Heaven Somewhere....

Dedicated 2 T-Cat

I can still hear your words ring.....
Those tears I cried when I heard of your departure...
You left us T-Cat and you deserved every reason to...
Memories of your laughs,
Your smiles,
The small gifts you gave at Christmas...
How Uncle Mike would glow with you by his side...
Murray....
You would say...
Now..
All we have is our memories,
The diamonds that will forever reflect colorful light into our hearts....
I remember when I saw you....
You were sooooo proud of me...
I got the chance to kiss my T-Cat...
I told you to be strong...
You told me to take care...
I didn't know it would be the last time I'd say goodbye...
You said goodbye to this world...
Hello to a new morning....
And even though you're no longer here..
We still can smell your flowers...

A New Jones

As a man that has feared God all of his life,
I won't lie in this work...

I have never been so happy to see someone's words of life...
I...
Have never possessed a friend so close to what give me life (my heart)
I..
Daydream of your health hoping that you are well,
And wishing that I may be there,
To help quench your thirst from life's well...
And times which may be hardest of all...
I pray honestly to be there sincerely...
To catch you...
From fall...
I fall...
In a dream....
To walk under the moon to you with you,
It's so serene...
When the leaves change in autum,
When the sun burns in summer,
When rains kiss the spring,
I wish to be the fore-runner..
To your heart.
Your presence is nourishing...
Your life is gentle...
I mean...
The convos with you...
Play around in my mental...
And though my mental...
Is, my heart's window...
I sketch these thoughts of bond with ink..
Not pencil..
Which means it's permenant..

Reality (Well It's Time)

Forever I sing chants of dreams from my heart,
From my heart....
Is where forever truly starts....
Clock with no hands is considered digital,
Which are times in which we live....
Life's so critical...
Poor people dream,
Rich people gloat,
The beast roams the planet...
While many people hope...
I know...
God does see the love in my heart...
Determined to conquer...
Everyday everybody's end does start...
We don't live forever...
Well In Heaven we do...
I must really be one of God's favorites....
This is true....
There's no place to run,
No place to hide,
I've failed, I've fallen,
And still stood, with tears in my eyes...
The clock with no hands...
Doesn't tell me nothing...
Can't tell me nothing...
Won't tell me nothing....
So...
I won't know when my blessings do come
When it's my time to die..
So a nigga can't run..
That's reality...
