Michelle Micek Poem
You say you're Cinderella,
Or would you like to be.
Does this mean that you've found,
Your Prince charming in me?
You also say you're Jasmine,
So, Princess, please be mine.
A whole new world I'll show you,
A world of love divine.
Your favorite is Tinkerbell,
So I'll be Peter Pan.
Together we can fly away,
Off to Netherland.
And if you're Sleeping Beauty,
Then i will be the one.
To kiss your lips, open your eyes,
And fill your life with sun.
And if I was the Beast,
And your name was bell.
I know that I could count on you,
To free me from my spell.
And if I was Prince Eric,
Would you come with me?
As my Ariel I'd show you,
A lover deeper than the sea.
Just like a disney tale,
Filled all with love and laughter.
You and I will be together,
Happily ever after.

Michelle Micek Poem
There is no such thing as love
I've decided this is true
And I've come to this conclusion
All because of you
There is no such thing as love
Though I wish this wasn't so
You proved this truth to me
When you decided to go
I wish there were such a thing as love
And that you wouldn't cheat and lie
Because every time you break my heart
I feel I'm going to die
I wish there were such a thing as love
Wouldn't that be comforting
To know that this illusion
Doesn't have to be a dream
Maybe there is such a thing as love
Because you called the other day to say
You miss me and though I want you back
Something inside's saying, Stay away.
Now I know there's such a thing as love
Only I found it in other arms
I know this is true love
Because his intentions involve no harm
Now I know there's such a thing as love
Because he would never hurt me or lie
I'm so happy that I've found true love
This time with a faithful guy!
I love him with all my heart
and I know he returns it, too
Because he doesn't lie or cheat on me
In fact he's nothing like you.

Michelle Micek Poem
Head filled with excitement,
the day has finally come.
You don't know who I am,
but I think you're the one.
Your smile caught my eye,
and your gave me a glance.
All planets were aligned that night,
when you asked me to dance.
Always and forever,
I'll think of you.
Whenever I hear that song,
that you and I danced to.
I'll never know your name,
or where and how far you live.
But I'll always remember the look in your eyes,
and the joy in my heart it gave...

Michelle Micek Poem
Close my eyes
Don't say a word
Shush my cries
Whispers in my ear
Trembles down my spine
Behold, drops a tear
Unwanted hands caress
Sickening my spirit
Feeling under repress
Dream about morality
Run from my fears
Think of sanity
Dart away from this
Sweat drips
Suppress that kiss

Michelle Micek Poem
I could hand you the truth
on a shiny silver platter
to try to hide
whats inside
but soon you'd find
the truth isn't all it's cracked up to be
the truth isn't all just butterflies and roses
Look at me
know my name
see that I don't know
where to begin
Touch me
know that I
am so much more
than stupid
Trust me
feel the tears I cried
in the dark
Hear me
know how I scream your name
See? Now is when you start to find
the truth is more
than butterflies and roses..

Michelle Micek Poem
So what do you say we fall in love again,
Just like we did when we first met?
I'll hold your hand to the end and back,
And make our love on it this time set.
Things we did to each other,
We both know we regret.
Be able to take things back,
Things that should have never been said.
We both know in our hearts
That we were supposed to last forever.
Now there's nothing left in this world
That could keep us from being together.
You're mine to the end,
As well as I am yours.
A promise never to be broken,
And the rest of this world we both can explore.
New adventures to seek,
Hand in hand.
The one and only thing perfect in this world,
Is being able to say, "Yes, that's my man!"
