Holland Mosely Poem
Sing me a sad song.
Fill it with heartbreak against a
thunderstorm and a howling wind.
Tell me of one of love's great tragedies for
all the ages. Don't spare a tear when so
many were shed. Curse the spirit or the
soul. There's darkness in these depths.
Such a sad sad song is such a strangely
beautiful tune. Filled with anger and rage
and a genuine emotion. Paint me a picture
that I won't soon forget.
I feel the hurt and the pain but I can't look
away.
Let the rain never stop until it washes
away the sorrow.
Sing me a sad song.
One with no hope or escape.
Four walls and no door. Smash it all into a
million pieces on the floor.
Such a sad song.

Holland Mosely Poem
Somehow, someway, I gotta be strong.
In the whirlwind of life, I gotta dig my feet
in deep. In the quicksand of circumstance I
gotta hold on tight to whatever keeps me
higher than I am.
Weight of the world so heavy on my
shoulders my whole body begins to feel
weightless.
Question my very existence, I start to feel
faithless.
The world around me is not real. But for
the pain I vouch. Is this what its all really
about?
No. NO! It can't be.
There has to be more.
Hope springs, but this season passes too
and we're right back where we started at.
Good times, happy days, I've never seen
'em. Never met them before a day in my
life. But someone told me once that it was
nice there. I close my eyes and can't help
but to imagine myself in that place.
The land of no trap doors where you can't
make a wrong turn.
Then its time to wake up.
Over and over and over and over again in
this cycle of life. Stop this ride. One more
go around and I might not make it.
Somehow, someway, I gotta be strong.
In the whirlwind of life, I gotta dig my feet
in deep. In the quicksand of circumstance I
gotta hold on tight to whatever keeps me
Higher.
