Third World Children

I was forced into child labor by my own parents
"They" said I had the right to play but what am I doing
Carrying timber and coal in exchange of education
But how can I survive in this messed up nation?
By the time I realized that I was torn of a child's right
Trapped in this dimension where the dark eats out the light
Working for free, working nonstop, working day and night
And everyday living with one thing in my mind
When will I eat? When will I drink? When will I be free?
To have a roof over the heads of my family
Try to make the most of it before your life is done
Decide to suicide pull the trigger and the pain is gone
But no! We were all born all equal and one
Yet I wonder why everyone's different under the same sun
And for the privileged to take my rights for fun
How would you feel if I took your freedom and run?
