When I Close My Eyes

When I close my eyes I see your face
Shining beautiful like summer's grace
I see sweetness in the curve of your smile
Which lingers in my mind for a while
Yet in your eyes I see a lonely dove
Who yearns for man's honest love
Majority of your years you've had so much strife
Yet you still deserve a man in your life
So break the bonds and mould the pain
For there is still much more to gain

The Lady In the Library

With her back to the world
Reality begins to fade
Eyes wide like a small girl
She slips into fantasy unafraid
Without the chattering of others
She listens to voices in every page
She's amazed as her heart flutters
Setting her up with each new stage
Yet I wonder where she is
In that whole other place
Yet I would not disturb this
Young beauty full of grace
For this place is not for everday chatter
It's for the worlds and adventures that matter

A Dragon's Warning

You can see me when I fly
And my wings across the sky
My body is large and my neck is long
I will never sing a gentle song
My breath brings fire from deep inside
It's the reason many families have died
Don't come looking for a fight
Because I will scratch and bite
I will pound the ground and rattle your head
I will rip your flesh and your blood will spread
I will pick your bones clean
I am a dragon like you've never seen
So if you don't want to be ate by me
You better just turn away and flee

A Warrior's Heart

I think of her beautiful face
As I sit upon this sattle
I wish I was there at her place
Instead of here waiting for battle
The way of a warrior is a hard road
Which is eased by love's presence
I breathe in the heavy humid cold
As I long for her sweet essence
The rain pours out and the lightning flashes
The armies collide as the thunder clashes
Glances of her face flashes through my head
As this battle fills me with tremendous dread
My heart was cold, filled with hate
Now my love for her is strong and great
The armies cry as men die like cattle
The grip of death tries to weigh me down
As the Titan's battle for the golden crown
I feel the earth shake and rattle
True I miss my love's sweet embrace
Though I doubt i will ever again see her
But if fate allows us to be together
I will everyday cherish her precious grace
For the love of a woman is worth more than gold
For it can heal a heart that is weary and cold

A Real Father

Any guy can have a child
But it takes a real man to be a father
Any guy can get annoyed
But a real man don't get bothered
Any guy can give money for his kids
But a real man is there for them
Any guy can work all the time
But a real man is takes care of her or him
Any guy can justify his position
But a real man proves his spot
Any guy can get upset with kids
But a real man never gets hot
Any guy can talk whatever
But a real man goes with the transaction
Any guy can buy stuff for their kids
But a real man's love is out of action
So many guys nowadays fall
But real men step up to the call

My Thought's of Pearl Harbor

During the time of our sleep
When not even mice would make sounds
The planes they did creep
Hunting their targets like savage hounds
And when they struck
The ground it rumbled
There was no time to duck
As the ships crumbled
Men and women died that day
Which made many families blue
They had awaken the USA
Even though we started World War Two
That day in December 1941
A new strenght had been born

The Fatboy Poem

Come get a drink and bite. Oh don't you miss it
We've got plenty of sausage and plenty of biscuit
Or you can have syrup on a giant pancake
After wash it down with a chocolate milkshake
Then later for lunch
We're going to munch
Fix yourself a sandwich with smoked ham
Or pull out a big can of smoked turkey spam
But now because of the way I feel
I've got to go and cook another meal

Stop Abortion

Do not be deceived
Once I am conceived
I have been given life
So put away that knife
Please don't go and abort me
Just because you want to be free
Please let me be your boy or girl
Please let me be apart of your world

November

Natural branches sit empty among the lonely pine
Old leaves have fallen from every branch and vine
Vegetation is unable to live, unable to grow
Everyday we can feel the cold wind's blow
Many hunters go out looking for wild prey
Before the bright morning, before the end of day
Every year we have a feast of thanksgiving
Remembering why we must keep on living
