The Circle of Life

Spring is the season for all things new
So many chores for people to do
Cleaning and working to make a fresh start
The brightness of nature will warm the heart

Summer is the season when people all meet
Finding ways to stay cool from the sun's harsh heat
Picnics and festivals the thrill of the ride
Most of the time will be spent outside

Fall is the season when brightness will fade
Preparing us for the darkness of winter's shade
The days grow shorter the weather is fair
There soon will be a chill in the air

Winter is the season for holiday cheer
Hoping the see the snow appear
Nestled at home walls blocking the winds
Enjoying time with family and friends

As each season fades and passes by
The new will be born and the old will die
A miraculous cycle gone in a hurry
Too often neglected by our own stress and worry

Instead of letting it pass by in a glance
We all should be eager to take the chance
Too put aside the worry of life's daily strife
And take time to enjoy the circle of life

A Moment In Time

How calming and peaceful hanging there in the field
The swing is a safe haven a powerful shield
Away from all troubles as though it would seem
A place for relaxation the time to dream

Swinging so high as if in mid air
Soaring through time without a care
The sun so warm the skies so blue
A beautiful picture of life for you

Swinging for hours if time would consent
Content and cozy a moment well spent
Feeling the fondness of memories past
Most certain a pleasurable day at last

If you should start to feel downhearted or blue
Find a pass time that brings great pleasure to you
Peace and contentment for nothing else can measure
To a moment in time that you surely will treasure
