As the Morning Comes

I awake each morning
And look around and see
Nothing happened to me last night
Because you watched over me
I open all the curtains
Then I open and look out the door
To see what a beautiful morning and
what You have in store
I make my coffee and pour it
And then I sat and drink you see
All the while I'm thinking what you have planned for me
All the while I'm moving
Thinking what today will bring
All the while I'm listening
To all the birdies sing
I hope you never leave me
I hope you are always there
To help me overcome my problems
and keep me from despair
