Your Gone

As the tears fall down from my face,
I think about that magical place.
You took me there when I was young,
but that was before the pain begun.
You walked me down the road of life,
preparing me to be a mother and a wife.
You would hold my hand and say have no fear,
mommy's not going anywhere, I'll always be here.
But that was wrong and so were you,
you left me mom, what am I to do?
I've been told life goes on,
but it can't be, because you're still gone.
I pray at night to see you in my dreams,
but you're never there, just terror and screams.
How could this happen, how could this be?
The woman I love so dearly up and left me.
I go to the grave every afternoon,
I sang our favorite song, it was a nice little tune.
But since your gone I've changed some things,
about marriage and babies and diamond rings.
Those things are not important to me now,
I ask myself, how did this happen, when and how?
You let yourself go to that place in the sky,
but it happened so sudden mom, please tell me why?
You left me a note by your bed,
you wrote moments before you ended up dead.
Please tell me why you took your own life,
you were a such loving mother and a dear wife.
You didn't write much, just a few lines,
to tell me you love me, and it would be better in time.
But now that your gone, it's not better at all,
I just lay in my bed, I scream and I bawl.
To know what you done, it's too hard to bare,
I stand at your grave with a cold desperate stare.
You were a daughter, a loving mother, and a dear wife,
Why did you do it mom, why did you use that knife?
I wonder everyday, it's all I think about,
There's only one thing it could be, without a doubt.
You went to a dark place, filled with murder and thugs,
I know why I lost you mom, you could no longer fight the drugs.
You could have reached out and told someone before,
now it's too late, death has already knocked and opened your door.
I'm sorry, so sorry, I could not see,
the reason you are dead is because of me.
I wasn't there to help when you needed me most,
Now I can't see you, not an image or a ghost.
I've answered my question, I just waited too long,
I know my mistake now, but it's too late, your gone.

My Love

Your like a cloud float above me,
like a diamond in the sky.
Your the light that keeps me going,
and the tear that makes me cry.
My sweet one you seem like a dove,
you cover me in blankets and you feel me with love.
Since we can't be together,
and we can't be apart.
I will never forget you,
in the center of my heart.

Mother

When I need a friend,
you are my best.
When I need a shoulder to cry on,
yours is always welcoming.
When I am in trouble,
you are there to get me out.
When I don't know what decision to make,
you show me the right one.
When I am broken-hearted,
you help put it back together again.
When there are dark clouds over me,
you pull me from under them.
When I see no way out,
You help lead me.
So, I say to you now...
If ever you need me,
I will be there all I can be.
For you are my mother,
and I love you!

My Child

You are the one I live for,
You are the one I would die for.
You are the reason I try everyday,
enjoying the simple pleasures,
Like watching you play.
Your amazing in everything you do,
It's unbelievable just how fast you grew.
It seems like yesterday the first time I felt you kick,
the thought of being without you makes me feel sick.
I watch you sleeping hoping you'll be okay,
praying to God I can keep you another day.
You are my miracle I can't believe,
but the truth is one day you will up and leave.
Your on your way to being a man,
But never forget I am your biggest fan.
I love you with all my heart,
I hope we will never be too far apart.
You are my light helping me through,
What life brings although I never knew.
Just what a child would mean to me,
Until the day it came to be,
When I saw your little face for the first time,
I knew exactly why I was alive,
To be your mother, protector, and provider
And this all serves as a reminder,
You are my life baby, for as long as I am here,
You are my world, you sweet little dear.
I love you so much, I could never deny,
How much love I felt for you the first time I heard you cry.
So I end this now with one last thing,
You will never know what life may bring.
But one thing will remain true,
The amount of love that I feel for You.
I love you baby and always will,
For you are my world and my heart you completely fill.
