Chayil Hyland Poem
My new sneakers were pure white,
And the laces were pink neon,
On the inside it was airy,
But on the outside they were strong,
I wore my sneakers everywhere,
To school and to the park,
And then I noticed something,
My sneakers were getting dark!
So I'm back to my old sneakers'
With cement on one side,
The laces were loose,
One time I tripped and almost died!
I think I should go barefoot instead of the ones that I worn out,
If that does not happen...
I think I'll wear a pout!

Chayil Hyland Poem
It's my first day of school
I know what to wear
It's something amazing
Something with flare
I wear my green flat shoes
And my polka dotted tights
My red and purple hula skirt
That has forty flashing lights
I wear my striped t-shirt
With a picture of a clown
I wear my golden shoulder pads
And a belt from out of town
I wear my purple sweater
And my diamond necklace too
I know that i stand out
Cause' I don't look just like you

Chayil Hyland Poem
be you
be free
be relaxed
be the lead
be justified
be beauty
be called to your duty
be calm
be bold
be finer than gold
be humble
be comitted
be truthful
be fitted
because you are proud of just being you
you will be great in the things that you do.
