Woe

Woe be the instrument by which you struck down this delicate heart! Veins and love torn asunder on the rocks! Your betrayal and all your unsaid grievances have Struck me repeatedly to the chest! Oh! What is woe?! What is I?! What is a dream that never truly dies?! I only know the terror of your love! An act of passion so swift in the night, never to imagine consequences would find you come mornings light! I kicked up my skirts and ran for the stairs. As if being nolonger in your presence could burn, no, DISSOLVE, the image of your treachery from my mind. Caught in your grasp! Staring into the eyes of a beast! Yells of fearsome volume rattle against my eardrums. I am but a whore. A whore to your whimsical desires but naught be my tricks and empty be my sleeves for all the good it did for me! To the bed of another you have slept! Tell me, did you spill your seed across her sheets and fill her head with delusions of grandeur?! I will die at the foot of the stairs! My mouth has been too quick and your anger is flaring like the pits of hell are in your eyes. I can see that you will fling me carelessly from your grasp, caring not for where I might land! Lovers delight in passion and is there no finer passion than in the dance of death?

Dare To Think That You Are Not Wanted

Simple things can catch my eye because beneath all that simplicity is, more often not, a colliding symphony of complications. That's what you make me think of. You make me think of ways to say "How was your day" and "you are lovely to me" and "please, allow me to know you more than this". You make me think of vulnerability. Someone patiently waiting to be found and wanted. I can't promise to want you and you can't promise to want me. But I'd like the chance to step into your world, learn the way you breathe, and elegantly scrawl your dreams into a journal dedicated just to my myriad of thoughts for/of you. You spark curiosity within me. Desiring to know the roads you've walked and the doors you have firmly shut behind you. I want to line my demons up with yours. See if they can't learn to play well together. I'm fascinated by the way you speak, your inability to properly convey your thoughts brings me to wonder what exactly it is that you want to explain. I want to follow your dreams like roadmaps to your mind. Caress my hand against the doors of your heart and imagine that they'll open with a few softly whispered words. This is nothing more than the rambling thoughts of a poet enamored with your eyes. I fancy the thought of where we could and how we could grow together. Take my words and toss them away or cradle then fondly against your heart, it matters not to me. But now you can never say that you were never wanted.
