Dont Walk Away

Verse 1
I made a mistake but the price is too high
Can’t go on without you in my life
I can’t stop you leavin I wont stand in your way
But before you walk thru that door please let me explain

Verse 2
I have no excuses I won’t try to lie
I’ll tell you the truth I’ll look you straight in the eye
And after you’ve heard if you still feel the same
I’ll let you go because I know I’m to blame

Chorus
Don’t Walk away turn around and stay
Don’t Walk away leave the light within the day
Don’t Walk away I need you in every way
Don’t Walk away just stop and listen to the words I have to say

Verse 3
I know that you look at me with different eyes
And something so beautiful has died tonight
But I beg your forgiveness I’m down on my knees
Stay with me baby and I promise you’ll see

Verse 4
I know that I’ve hurt you and your feeling betrayed
I have no excuse for this stupid mistake
But I promise you this it’ll never happen again
I don’t want to lose you my lover and friend

Chorus
Don’t Walk away turn around and stay
Don’t Walk away leave the light within the day
Don’t Walk away I need you in every way
Don’t Walk away just stop and listen to the words I have to say

Let Freedom Ring

I Have a dream, his words echoed round the world
that one day every little boy and every little girl
would walk together hand in hand
As brothers and sisters in a colourless land

A dream that one day this proud nation
Would finally eradicate segrigation
that no one will be judged by the colour of their skin
instead on the chracter that lies within

Let freedom Ring from stone mountain in georgia
Ring from the peaks of california
Ring from the land of the pilgrims pride
Ring from every hill and every mountainside

A dream that the state of mississippi
Will one day understand the true equality
and live and work for the greater good
and treat each other like we know we should

A dream that we stand side by side
Hold on to our dignity and cultural pride
and walk together to a positive end
I have a dream today my friend

Let freedom Ring from stone mountain in georgia
Ring from the peaks of california
Ring from the land of the pilgrims pride
Ring from every hill and mountainside

True Warrior

The presence of a giant in a frame so small
Heart of a warrior standing tall
The soul of an angel with the touch of a child
She walks so proud on the longest mile

She won’t give up, it’s a fight to the end
May have lost the battle, but won the right to ascend
And after she’s gone when there’s no more pain
The memory of her touch will remain

A True Warrior with unshakeable faith
The battle that she fought would make most runaway
A True Warrior, A Gentle giant inside
Dealing with a monster, she kept her dignity and pride

The hour draws close, her time is at hand
As she prepares her journey to a promised land
The peace that awaits and calls to her soul
Has her name etched in light on a heavenly scroll

Her battle’s nearly done and her war draws to a close
To face this monster is a path she freely chose
But look up in the sky pretty soon you’ll see a light
As she’s held in the arms of an angel tonight

The Dreamer

Verse 1
i open my eyes, and the sunlight shines thru broken castle walls
and the visions of past battles echoe thru the dark stone halls
as i walk towards the oak door, i sense there`s something wrong
see the sword arc towards me in a blink i am gone

Verse 2
running thru concrete jungles pursued by my worst fears
turning corners in slow motion weaving in and out of spears
look behind me ravens flying through the misty flowing veil
Will i ever leave this place alive , remember to exhale

Chorus
and i`m dreaming in a dream thats in a dream with no way out
and these soundproofed walls that line my mind means no one hears my shouts
ca`nt wake up or or have i woken?, see my self asleep in bed
am i living in the real world or this one inside my head?

Verse 3
high above the world im flying Golden Lions by my side
a single whisper in the breeze talks to a teardrop in my eye
Silver Dolphins weaving in and out of living breathing seas
and the thought of leaving this place brings me crashing to my knees

Verse 4
i open my eyes see the sunlight shine on friendly eggshell walls
and the sound of childrens voices echoe through familiar halls
as i walk towards the bedroom door, theres something out of place
see the mirror, hear the screaming from the man without a face

Repeat Chorus

The Old Oak

Verse 1
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
There’s a bridge down the way crossing a river that’s wide
And the green hills roll forever, it’s a beautiful sight
With a backdrop of mountains their tips covered white

Verse 2
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
Where I carved out our names with a small pocket knife
And the letters we etched in a timeless old tree
Say that I’ll always love you long past eternity

Chorus
I’ll soon be with you angel, this body grows tired
I’ll soon be with you angel for soon I’ll expire
I’ll soon be with you angel never then will we part
I’ll soon be with you angel be still my beating heart

Verse 3
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
And a single headstone marks the place where you lie
A chair by the side of your last resting place
Which I sit in for hours and just stare into space

Verse 4
There’s a house on a hill with an old oak at the side
Tended by a lost soul who hasn’t much time
It won’t be long now and we’ll be one again
There’s been so much pain since I lost you my friend

Chorus
I’ll soon be with you angel, this body grows tired
I’ll soon be with you angel for soon I’ll expire
I’ll soon be with you angel never then will we part
I’ll soon be with you angel be still my beating heart

The People We Once Knew

Verse1
i cant go on like this its drivin me insane
we're goin round in circles tryin to shift the blame
we need to stop this now before it gets too late
cause pretty soon this love we had will turn to hate

Verse2
i used to love you but now i dont know what i feel
i hate the way i look for your achilles heel
i'm finding fault with all the things i used to like
and saying things to hurt you purley out of spite

Chorus
You did this, i did that
the hands of time just wont go back
you don't see me, i don't see you
we're not the people
the people we once knew

Verse3
cant we stop this fight there's nothing it achieves
i talk to you with words that you just wont believe
the silence is so loud it hurts me not to hear
the voice that soothed my mind and made things oh so clear

Verse4
i'm looking at the door, the one our love went through
and left two empty shells in a world thats coloured blue
have we come so far that we cant find our way
back along this dark path to a brighter day

Bridge
the people we once were and the people that we are
are not the same two people, we've grown so far apart
the people we once were are not the people that we are
no reason to be here but every reason to depart

Chorus
You did this, i did that
the hands of time just wont go back
you don' see me, i don't see you
we're not the people
the people we once knew
