Let's Keep It Real

It's funny when you just feel like you in this world alone -
Know one understand's you , not even the one's who consider themselves
to be grown -
Black women a relationship is not about you , one woman -
It's about that woman including that man , united together we stand -
Every arguement is not just the fault of him -
Consider what you did before the arguement and remember 1 of you
equals 2 for them -
Know man should put his hand's on a woman as well as know woman
should put her hand's on a man -
But , in a relationship we should both keep it respective because the outside
line will never understand -
Something that is workable to both of us is over exaggerated by them -
Even though we where both in the fault the outside line only blame's him -
I think that deep down inside every man has some good -
Im in a seat now where the one's you say , are no good once stood -
I was more than good i was great -
Now, Im trying to keep from tearing down someone else's wall with all
this hate -
Im a dog because i don't want to throw my heart in -
Rewind my life and sweet heart come again -
Who came up with this rule that he alway's has to lay down the red carpet
for you -
Back in the day's we women where strong and everything that was old to
us was brand new -
Black women why does jealousy has to be part of your plan in order to get
some attention -
When you get some you don't want it ; sorry to you lady player's that one i had
to mention -
Black women if you feel like you deserve to be treated good than raise your
hand -
Now put your hand's down and look around because that's what it feel's
like inside of every good man -
Black men stand up and tell your woman i deserve to be treated good -
Black men tell your woman i love you but , let's make sure that what i said , is
understood -
Some of us black women need to recognize that in a relationship it's 50% for
you and 50% for me -
If you don't have no 50% than don't expect no red carpet because everything
that you thought was about you include's me -

Daddy's Little Girl

Her eye's are pretty with innocent inside
Her face is precious with curious trying to hide
Her body state's that i am a grown woman
The tight clothes and plenty of makeup keep
the grown men coming
Her every move and every step is just to dog on sexy
That man's eye's missed her face because her body
is screaming caress me
Before he realize this is , he's inside
Her body feels everything that her curious face was
trying to hide
Those pretty eye's are no longer innocent
Guilt has came and made all her presents pastense
Now that body that stated to be a grown woman with
those eye's that was pretty innocent ; no longer can
hide her precious face with curious
That man never saw her face until after he planted that
seed and then realized that this is serious
Because her body was screaming caress me
His eye's missed her face but , saw her every move and
every step that he couldn't resist because she was just
to dog on sexy
Who cried , when her body lied
But , realized now she have to be a woman and this big
old world
If it wasn't for the tight clothes and plenty of make-up
he would have saw that those pretty eye's with innocent
meant that she was daddy's little girl

" To You All , I Rise "

Ya'll took this heart of mine and made it pump faster than it should -
I tried to slow it down the best way i could -
Talking about i love you , i love you -
How could ya'll love me and do the thang's you do -
Physically destroyed my emotion's but , now im wise -
One after another broke my heart and still i rise -
Open up my arm's and excepted each one of ya'll hurt -
But , who was it left behind with the storm full of dirt -
Put me to the side like some unsalted fries -
Traded this unconditional love in but , still i rise -
I made some time to wipe away ya'll depressing tear's -
Even though i had my own i handled ya'll with no fear's -
Now nobody want's this left over heart that cry's
Yeah , this poem is sad but , through it all still i rise -
Look at all this time i wasted on ya'll -
I could wish ya'll the worst but , i wish ya'll the best because
i can't stand to see nobody fall -
Yeah , im still standing or ya'll suprised -
I hurd one of you say , it is what it is i guess so because still i rise -

No String's Attach

Like hot water running down my spine -
A new picture in the frame will feel good to be mine -
No ring's , No account's , No kid's -
Im not trying to hurt anyone but , just keep the top's
on the attach lid's -
My heart is only looking to help itself to some fun -
Broken hearts , lonely night's equal's relationship's ;
I've done -
I just want to feel myself sweat and hear myself call
a different name -
You're not ready to settle down so let's just stick
with what it is a game -
Good movie's , long laugh's , a nice meal that's all -
Holding each other unless away will be just a call -
Like hot water running down my spine -
Feels good to share with you what's mine -

Blessing Was a Little Girl

She's beautiful in everyway that beauty can be
She capture your heart with a smile that you must see
Pretty , thin , black head full of hair
When she talk or sing a riddle she capture your full attention
with a stare
So much energy but , she's full of joy
Blessing's was a little girl even though every dad would wish
upon a boy
Her conversation is full even though know one understands
what she may say
Good health and a bright future for her i pray
It's a smile when i knock and she greets me at her parents door
She's my beautiful niece her name is Sydni Patrice Moore

Still a Man

Im just a man , I throw my hand's up -
Im just a man , I put my hand's down -
Im just a man , I stomp my two feet on
this earthly ground -
Everything , I do is the size of a man's shoe -
My whole life is tougher than bruce lee and his
ancestor's kung - fu -
They say , we don't think with our brain , we think
with our penis -
Well , they just don't understand ; unlike the woman
who as a child had to clean us -
Our feeling's do hurt and we cry just inside -
Just like any other heart our's feel what they 've cried -
Im a man before i put there war boot's on -
Just like a woman we men to have need's to talk to our
father in heaven on the phone -
I love as love is meant to be -
I fall down at the right time to give that special woman
my one knee -
Strong as strenght is in my hand -
Remember , Im still a man -

No Money , No Love

I think to much i can't stop thinking -
I feel like a big man at his stage of shrinking -
He was once big now he's small -
Sat down peacefully until one day he wanted to stand tall -
Then , he thought how can i stand -
Im a man and when i wake up everyday there's not a penny
in my hand -
Stand tall , who shall i face -
How can i when there's no money to fill up that beautiful
heart's space -
It's ashame that love amount's to money -
With empty pocket's how can i call anyone my honey -
Is it fair that i must have money to love -
I thought having a good heart was the most precious thing
from up above -
I want to be loved and love someone back -
Now because i have no money im like a pipe to someone
with no crack -
There pipe is useless and my pocket's want do me no good -
I see a beautiful heart but , im scared that with no money i
might be misunderstood -

Two Feet Tall

For i have reached the world of the highest -
For those eye's that see, cry this -
I have won yet , I've lost -
I've swallowed every broken piece's of my heart at cost -
One job taken away has made me whole -
Green paper we like but , I rather have silver and gold -
Sometime's , we have to give up two item's just to get one back -
It's never happiness but , with sunshine come's joy which i will never lack -
Yea ! My icebox is empty i must say -
Stomach starving for food , believe me some of that i will find one day -
For God i smile -
For the world it's not a care for liking my style -
Im sweet , Im kind , I make mistake's and i can be mean -
What flesh you know that any of those thing's you haven't seen -
Many face's i've met who's name's didn't match -
Be careful who you kiss for a dollar ; here can you catch -
A college degree doesn't make one better than know other -
Knowledge is the key to wisdom and on that note i want dig no further -
The heart of a lion is more real than 90% of some of us -
At least they kill with honesty but , we kill trying to get a pass on another man's bus -
Intimidation is not a strong chest ; sister , brother you've been mislead -
I've seen a gun with my eye's along with a blow to my head -
Laid down , slow motion , face swelled up all from the side of a club's curve -
Brother didn't know ; gave the other one love and the last one i can't believe he even
had the nerve -
For i have have reached the world of the highest -
For those who eye's that see, cry this ! -

" Trust "

TRUST: 1. assured reliance on the character,
strength, or truth of someone or
                something
                2. a basis of reliance, faith, or hope

The definition say's more than this world can issue out
Your character, your strength, your truth, my faith, my
hope, all of that is swallowed whole as one to another
human being open there mouth,
We have failed to love one another, Love didn't fail to
love us
Love gave us every tool we need to love in heart as we
as human's must,
We live by the code protect only my heart for that other
heart shall be ok
Let's wake up tomorrow and ask for forgiveness with my
un-meanful excuse of today,
We sympathize with the wrong, when the truth was right
before us from the start
We lure ourselves in until we realize that we have gone
to far and our weakness began to overcome our intelli-
gence, our smart,
INTELLIGENCE: ability to learn and understand or to
deal with new or trying situation's

I'm sad to say, that we have insulted the meaning of this
word here in our future generation's -
TRUST is a word of power
LOVE is being abused right now as we speak because trust
is no where to be found in this minute or this hour -

The Last Piece

Your body , Your body , I like when it move real slow -
I can't sleep and when i think my mind is where my body need's to go -
Just thinking about you make's my heart spin -
My wild sex imagination is only during it with you , my friend -
I wish you would answer -
Oh ! How i wish you would call -
But , I see your wishing upon a star got you in love so , I'll take this as my
down fall -
It was a walk that i would never walk again -
It was a run that i tripped the whole time i ran -
You knew you had me from the first time you said , I'll be back and you never
came -
When i should have closed the door's ; I allowed the storm to pore down more
rain -
It would be nice for one last time to sit down and eat -
Pretend that this is the first time we would meet -
But , when one is in love there's only a star to wish upon -
This is the last piece of my broken heart , I'll be bringing in 2006 all alone -
