Snow Day

The snow gathers around in a blanket upon the ground I sit alone watching the snow flakes
fall all around. In my eyes a twinkle a hope for a better day. With a childs like innocence I
search to find my way.The clouds have parted to an ever depressing gray.Beautiful dreams
begin with a picture perfect scene.A moment without clarity I may have never seen.My eyes
open to glory angels sing from up above. With this new found feeling I know must be love.
Bitter cold cannot deter me from what I feel.I reach out to touch what's real. This beautiful
moment I'm almost new.I've seen what's pure and know what's really true.

The Soldier

As they lowered the casket into that grave they all retold stories of the mighty and brave.
Upon his chest adorn the bronze of twenty men that still live on. Thanks to the bravery of a
single man our flag still fly's and lady liberty still stands.

Sleeping Child

sleeping child what do your dreams hold the silence can be so cold.Sleeping child one day
everything will become real your innocence life will soon steal.Soon pain will be all that you
feel. The tears will surround stealing away your perfect youth. All the questions in your mind
unanswered with no proof.Monsters tear away the aspirations robbing them out from your
hands. You will soon drift away into mysterious foreign lands.Little girl don't fall to the angels
their voices ever so faint there unpolished images ever so quaint.Let no one tell you no.On
this journey with so many miles left to go.Whether rock star, queen,or doctor you may be.
Let not this world deter you for nothing binds you and you are still forever free.

The End

As I lay dying everything becomes so clear All the reasons for why I'm here The regrets
pour over me as I tell my mother goodbye I'm so sorry for hurting you please do not cry
Don't remember me this way Remember my smile the softness in my voice the gentleness
in my touch just know I loved you very much I see the hurt as it begins to darken what was
a light in my mother's eyes the black begins to embody her soul as she starts to cry I feel so
angry inside for the damage I've left behind like a wrecking ball all the good had died And
now I lay here in wait for the inevitable demise I say a prayer as I slowly close my eyes...

Bully

They said she was nothing as they tore her world apart. The words felt like a bullet through
her heart. She fell on her knees reading every word.As her strength built she wiped her tears
one by one.Never again she screamed.I won't be your victim,your empty pleasure.She
vowed no more as she fell in front of that cross.Everything suddenly became clear.they're
only word's as she pulled the daggers one by one from her heart. This isn't my end but simply
my start.Beginning today I am anew no longer will I build my world around you.No longer
were they bullies but simply bridges to burn.No longer would she lose sleep or toss and turn
I have the right to live. This I don't need as she tore down all her walls her armour tore away
exposing the brightest light.Blinding through the darkness that once embodied her soul.Day
by day she recovered the life that once had been stole.
