Broken Spirit

Your  soul aching from despair
                                        
                                          Led to believe people around 

                                          you no longer care.


                                         Many in the world have become

                                         too self-absorbed,
                           
                                         To those who are in distress
                                      
                                         they are seemingly invisible to them.


                                         I am saddened  in heart to witness the blatant
                    
                                         mistreatment of others we soon forget,

                                         The ones we ignore out there are our Sisters

                                         and Brothers.
