Sad Love Songs

One note
One word
One tune
One line

Brings smiles
Brings tears
Brings joys
Brings pains

Still, I listen.

Number Poem

five steps, and i’m near you
one touch is all you got to do
not one thing you’re gonna say
just that one touch is okay.

a dozen of matters to talk
just one word would make it fine
worried six times and more
i could only listen to four.

a room for fifty, a seat for one
you let them all in, and you’re left with none
in one heart, for two people
one would rejoice, the other would struggle.

for places and times and faces
that’s just all for one
never give in for another
if you got none under cover.

To the Beat of the Drum

to the beat of the drum
my head bangs up and down
like i am some rockstar.

to the beat of the drum
i slam my hands on my legs
like i am holding a drumstick.

to the beat of the drum
i thump my legs
like i am banging the bass.

to the beat of the drum
i hurt my ears
like someone’s whispering to it again.

to the beat of the drum
dum dum dum
i feel numb.

Scarred But Not Wounded

Hush child, wipe those tears
The demons are away
They're not after you, I promise
It's just the cold weather.

Hush child, I hear you sob
The monsters are gone
They're not after you, I promise
It's just shadows in the dark.

Hush child, I know, you're hurting
These demons and monsters are mine
It's just me, I promise
And all my cold shadows.

Wanted

WANTED:

Someone who’ll understand
The words of a psychopath
The personality of a split
The heart of a woman.

Someone who’ll see
What is behind the eyes
What is inside the heart
And not behind the clothes.

Someone who’ll feel
The want to rage
The need to wee
The desire to be loved.

Someone who’ll hold
The arms that’s swaying
The shoulders that’s faltering
The feet that’s leaving.

Someone…
Just someone…
Simply someone…
Who doesn’t even exist.

Tick Tock

Dash
I walk fast
I walk and walk

Rush
I ran a mile
I ran and ran

In a hurry
In a while
I’m out of time.

Upward, Downward

He’ s not the one for me

I realized today

He makes me smile…

He makes me laugh

He gives me songs.

Though it is crap

He erases the pain.

When I am down

He strums his guitar.

He sings a tune

He gives compliments.

And he means it every time

He seems too good

He seems so surreal

When I look at him

He is perfect.

Temporary Happiness

At a glance,
Just a look,
Not necessarily a stare.

At a glance,
Spotted,
No need for words.

At a glance,
Understood,
Though temporary.

Glance, look
Soon a stare,
But as of now…
…this is okay.

At the Shore

Drunk, by the sea I stood
I whispered into the air
“This is it… I’m dying…
With a bottle on my hand.”

Drunk, by the sea I sat
I stared into the sea
Thinking, deeply, of memories
Of anything that’s barely there
Of everything I left
Of nothing, and nothing at all.

Drunk, by the see I scampered
In search for words that seemed lost
Scampering, panting,
I lost ground.

And at my last breath, drunk
I muttered words
I bade goodbye
At the shore.

His Soul

Out of the corner of my eye
I see you, you were looking at me
And I also see
The boy or the man I wished you to be.

Out of the corner of my eye
I see the boy who melt my heart
Every little kind word, makes my day
Every tiny push, breaks us apart.

Out of the corner of my eye
I see the grown-up man
Every great word, every promise
He makes, he breaks, out of plan.

Coz out of the corner of my eye
I bade him goodbye
I didn’t want his words, his touch
I want his soul, his heart – and nothing much.
