The Calm Before the Storm

There is this pause before a storm,
Before the sky take monsterous turn,
While the birds still sing there song,
And kid still laugh and play.

But then the birds stop singing,
And children go inside,
And then the rain begins to fall,
It starts out slow then goes a little faster,
Till it sounds like kettle corn on my roof,
Then I ask myself what happened to the rain calm before the storm.

The Dragons Lair

You have come to the dragons lair,
but don't come in unaware,
others came yet quickly fled,
and those that didn't,
well there now dead,
as you go down into her night,
where there is no sun light,
where many temptations,
lay in wait,
but only i know where they are.

so come in if you dare,
and if you are the treasures heir,
i will smell it in the air,
this is the dragons lair.

The Warrior

His armor shines in the sun,
His eyes glint with ocean blue,
His sword is at his side,
And his shield upon his back,
A tear rolls down his cheek.

His mind is filled with thoughts of love,
 Thoughts of war,
 And thoughts of hate,
And a tear rolls down his cheek.

Like a loyal soldier,
When the horns are blasted load,
A kings soldier onward as he goes,
As he marches into war,
A tear rolls down his cheek.

He charges into battle,
Determination in his eyes,
And in the end the battle won,
The loss is only great.

But for the battered warrior,
 This battle isn’t over,
He rents his clothes,
He screams and curses,
For at his feet lay his friend,
With an arrow in his chest

The glowing sun glints off his armor,
His sword is sheathed at his side,
His shield upon his back,
And encrusted upon his shield a blood red cross,
the cross of a fallen friend.

Defendense of Home Lands

The armies line up dressed in armor,
Every villager knight and farmer,
They all have come to defend there soil,
That they’ve earned with sweat and toil.

Bloods been spilled before,
And will be spilled again,
But all for country and family.

My Soul

who can fix a soul,
a soul as black as coal,
a soul thats lost it's meaning,
and now is left undone.
my soul feels so heavy,
like a flood against leavy.
who can fix my soul.

Chrismas Magic

Is there’s magic in the air,
Can you see it anywhere,
What happened to the real magic,
What happened to the best gift of all?

There is true Christmas magic,
And there is one good example,
 Though dressed in dirty clothes,
Though homeless and hungry,
They give what they need,
They share what they have.

I’ll tell you what Christmas magic is,
It’s the willingness to share,
with those less fortunate than us,
so sho love and kindness and show real chrismas magic.

My Broken Heart

She was a light,
to my dark heart,
a north star,
to my lost heart,
she healed what was broken,
and loved me when no one would,
and showed me what no one could.

but when i was fixed,
she dropped me,
and didn't care that i was shattered,
she left me and now i know,
that she was like berries on mistletoe.
sweet to see, yet poisen in the end.
