Brandon Hoffman Poem
floating along in the cosmos
a diamond in the sea
a pretty little planet
how can this all be
so many yet so few
in the ratio it seems
birthing forth the life
of what's all to be
so much beauty
in a whirling tendril of flame
yet its all just energy
even you and me
life has more energy than the sun
nine times more in fact
the energy of one
watching evolution react
sparkles in the sky
show us through the night
we all need to ask why
instead of trying to fight
I hope this reaches all
while were spinning here in place
I hope that we don't fall
from floating in outer space

Brandon Hoffman Poem
I can feel the reverberations in my mind
but I have to ask why were holding ourselves behind
is it the magnetic, holding us all in line
or the electro part, not waving his sign
could it be us, the corporate mentality
the me, me, me that just wont let us be
the rise against, the cognitive of free
the closed mind, that just wont let us see
we need to open up, rise beyond binarality
stand under the in depth, of broken symmetry
the cause and effect, of our reality
for space is time, and time is relativity
the vacuum of space and infinite energy
spiraling down, to increase conductivity
will ever expand upon diversity
approaching what some, may call divinity
its the the creator, of the here and now
the reason why, were all able to ask how
its breathes life, into all that may allow
creating mass, without a solemn vow
and what it looks like, a drop of water on the pond
an ever flowing ripple of what made it belong
a frequency, made up of the short and long
carrying more insight, than sound within a song
its the meaning of life, traveling at the speed of light
its beautiful, crashing into the insight
its every life lost, trying to push us all to right
its the impulse, that causes fight or flight
its God's tree that Adam ate from long ago
light-years beyond, your average pony show
its the accumulation of every vice you seem to know
it might even be the reason that poetry seems to flow
its invisible, yet right before your very eye
its stability, and yet it seems to lie
its the reason, everyone seems to ask why
and it exists in you even after you die

Brandon Hoffman Poem
I look around me and all I see are colors
but wonder if they matter at all
for I see the color of all of these wonders
but still cant afford to call
so I have to ask has color mattered
since the day I was born
or is the grey just a color that seems to have splattered
the color of bleeding the norm
it sounds like everything and yet tastes of none
opposites blending under the sun
a Mexican standoff between all the colors
but only the grey would run
it sounds of the freeway and jackhammers at work
without any leeway or quarks
its unmitigated and yet agitated
but the grey will still leave its marks
its the beginning of every and the end of all
mixed all together in one
it can pick you up then leave you to fall
until finally the grey is undone

Brandon Hoffman Poem
Im ready to go nuts
I think its the doughnuts
I look around
a bunch of prefabbed huts
everywhere there's light
there's ladies of night
I look around
I know that its not right
its all the same
from cali to main
I look arround
its going down the drain
I cant get away
from night to day
I look around
and find a blackish grey
is it just me
just something I see
I look around
I see that were not free
red, blue, and the white
has she lost her sight
I look around
and see she likes to fight

Brandon Hoffman Poem
I challenge you to a duel
at high noon
while the vampires are out
we shall be shooting soon!
so I stepped outside my door
six gun by my side
saddled upon my gargoyle
and took off for a ride
we met by the clock tower
so many were barely within sight
I fired all of my six shots
as the demon danced with delight
as I stopped to reload
a whizz went by my head
for I could barely see
that I was nearly dead
I clicked the tumbler closed
rose the barrel with great aim
fired just one shot
and blew out fiery demon brains
then I saddled up my gargoyle
as the clock struck twelve O one
everything was silent
for my deed was done

Brandon Hoffman Poem
I pledge allegiance with heartless intent to this flag
of the united states of America
cause the politicians got the cat in the bag
and my wallets overflated numerica
this is a government of the people by the people for the corporation
I solemnly vow to work hard and hold my head down
let hypocrisy run free in our nation
and battle to wear the crown
who really wears the big boy pants
when their all made in china
why does the news agency rave and then rant
when there a dead dinosaur with angina
patriotism is robotic
when war spending is a common goal
we need some antibiotic
so that we all don't get the pole
this one I dedicate to you and I
the bright spark of life that barely cared to try
shooting itself upon the foot while telling you a lie
classified quite top secret so no one may cry

Brandon Hoffman Poem
You said to pick one color but I had to do three
they represent one thing that we Americans call free
but the sound it makes, sounds like death to me
the red, white, and blue can you see
I hear an air strike
bombs light up the night
so many screams
how can they say its right
they've gotten a nuke
it just makes me puke
so many screams
caused by our fluke
a deserted land
covered in sand
so many screams
caused by our hands
secretary of defense
went on the offense
so many screams
when are we going to pay penance
when I was three
was taught we were free
so many screams
right here in our country

Brandon Hoffman Poem
4/29/2014
from sticks and stones that break my bones
to nukes that want to hurt me
why do we all make weapons
cant we set this world free
we were most peaceful as cavemen
that's the way, that it seems to me
back when we went ooga booga
was when we were truly most free
so why have we disconnected?
money and power as it seems
and yet still so many of us
ride upon many lighted beams
still yet I can see the future
mixed within the dark and light
and believe me when I tell you
I see our future can be bright

Brandon Hoffman Poem
oh you want to slam me I don't think so son
ill crash your ship upon the rocks
while laughing just for fun
straight whip out all my cocks
and peck you till your done
id like to take the time to slam the government
but there all just pawns
who don't know where they all went
so I pet them all like newborn fawns
don't you remember its the people who are to be number one
and for the kings and queens
what the hell is wrong with you
want to keep us picking beans
I hope your crown turns black and blue
don't make me do the knocking with the power of the sun
and money
don't get me started dude
I do this stuff for free
any other way is rude
and even if I eat some crumbs I'm above the ruthless scum
how about the church
a layer cake of bull**** thousands of years old
stagnant as a piece of birch
growing with some mold
no wonder they try to rape us cause there really number none

Brandon Hoffman Poem
the meaning of life should not be an eternal search for power
but a powerful search for eternity
so that once comes the hour
we can all just let it be
life should be full of passion
but not of a jealous degree
for life tends to follow no fashion
life is pure energy
respect is the basic foundation
for which you can build upon trust
if befuddled its certain damnation
for love can only be lust
we need to seek upon wisdom
knowledge that is used properly
so that we can form fusion
of life for prosperity
life is shorter than you think
so don't waste time taking from others
instead build within your blink
and leave behind for all your brothers
