Dead City

Calculations of grief take stock in the supermarket pavement
midnight streets first impression to the concrete placement
black recycled oil stains painting with wires tired and lazy
contained by the curves a labyrinth never ceasing to amaze me
lights like traffic dividing and conquering political geometry
Swamping gutters that clutter to find thicker narrow cholesterol flow
her chambers revolving inconsistent choking the pollution control
grinding and teething on the construction houses like shallow holes
where the ghost engage in masquerades of timeless music searching for a soul
I once was a member of the census proudly standing above the cellars below
now I cringe hidden in the chimneys industrial disaster of the acid bath
Our hearts no longer echo off the gravity now rusted by the aftermath
tomorrow I know how sad ill look back at the present auctioned to the past
I could of done better had I convinced my heart sooner than last
But like lovers who waited too long in the snow I over endulged arrogantly masked
Defeated and broken by the machines of the cold driven under by the murderous frost
In a dead city buried alive haunting progress unforgiven like always and completely lost

Counteract

Time just floats by like dead bodies of victims hands sway 12 6 10 3
Insanity fabricated imagination crazy dancing throw my soul to the tree
Crashing all the ideas flowing out of my head im certain im dying from the impact
Something lovely and distracting would make great company like the fact of contact
Coming out hold the wisdom from a dream with words the intruder exit
Like murderous vengeance crawling under the dying light I cant fix it
I pull the knife out the bullets countless holes dragging pieces of you away
Mortality crashing into my heart darkness there lifeless hands touching my face
Medicated and drowning its okay that Im choking I cant breathe and im alright with that
The pain lets me know im alive and I can try I can try again I awkwardly bend and
counteract

Drug Addict

one eye on the fall and the other one is missing
,do you see your mortality as a reflection that your still resisting
,ashamed of all your bitter pills and hopeless failures,
keep kicking yourself in vapor choking jailhouse capers
,drying out your eyes and drowning your thoughts
,blinding emotions monotone feelings you've bought
,the only tragedy is that you cant get past the lost pride,
your still digging your own grave and ignoring your own lie,
i wish i could pull out your spine and show you collapse,
romanticizing your death i feel you might finally shut your own trap
,finally hearing the wind again and awake in the dark
,i will admire this fear and immortalize the spark

My Brothers Keeper

My brothers keeper keep looking forward
,let me return the favor i know your lost and bored
,to the light in your mind the time of your life
,dead stillness at night living dying doesn't make it right
,rolling over your grave is no way to pray
,its no way to say im blind and afraid
,to the heavens begging to skyline your heading,
but if you could just settle down if you could just start to listen
,there are many who are watching silently stalking
,the vulture is available the coroner is mocking,
lets restart the clock regenerate the difference
,this chemical is bleeding resisting this instance
,and tomorrow don't thank me don't even try to think it,
just a sunrise and breathing instead of you sinking
