I Only See You In Pictures

Run out in Steptember
and here is December
But I'm still your defender
To guard and protect you forever for sure
but for now

I only see you in pictures
It kills me to look at your pictures
You keep me alive, you in pictures
Do they let you see me in pictures
I ache to hold you not just your pictures
Soon together we'll take new beautiful pictures

On the day of your birth
You brought to me mirth
I promised heav'n and earth
To stay and protect you forever for sure
I'm with you but for now

I only see you in pictures
It kills me to look at your pictures
You keep me alive, you in pictures
Do they let you see me in pictures
I ache to hold you not just your pictures
Soon together we'll take beautiful pictures

Spirit To Fire

Don’t cross your woman
Unless you've lost your head
She could do like mine
And not rest ‘til you’re dead

Could come call in the daytime
Or slip in at night
Scorned women are sneaky
Mine planned revenge right

Don’t limit your fear to
knife poison or gun
She could look as mine did
to drag out her fun

It may be harm to your body
Is her new heart’s desire
But mine called on black magic
To put my spirit in fire

It depends on the girl
Some don’t but some do
I was naive and believed
when mine said I forgive you

So don't do like me and risk
your spirit to fire
Rather Honor your woman
You'll see she keeps you as sire

Thirteen Forevers

I thought forever was not enough time
We weren't supposed to see the end of the line
It just can't be over when a years gone by, just thirteen times

Much damage was done, yes this is true
you had me arrested and I did stuff to you
We can leave that behind now love will carry us through

They all bet against us but what will we say
We won't have a good answer if we just quit today
When our children come ask us why we threw love away

We clearly could part now to no ones surprise
Walk away from each other with no long goodbyes
Or could go all in and risk roll the dice
Betting we're better together as forever glides by thirteen times
