Time Is a Thief

Time is a thief . it stole my joy 
away from Me , painted a Friday 
with black and gave to me a gift 
of pain .  
mom was busy thinking of 
heaven from her sick bed, all i 
did was worry far away as i write 
my school test.  
students and teachers filled up 
the spaces but i was still feeling 
lonely .  
i dropped my pen and brought 
out my tears as i watch my mom 
through the hospital window. 
her face covered with an oxygen 
mask , she was there but she 
wasn't there.  i was there but i 
wasn't there coz time was there 
before me. time is a thief it stole 
my mom away from me.
