To Fail, I Shall Not

Life is a journey
traveled by many
the loads we carry
some leave us weary

The dreams in my heart
I will not bury
Failure can depart
we will not marry

love is not fairy
It is the drug I sniff
craved for by many
It lets me climb the cliffs

If you forgot
I am for God
To fail, I shall not
I Applause the Lord

The Knot

THE KNOT

In this dark lonely life that I
have
You are my golden star, just
shine
If the happiness that I have is a
sign that you are mine, then it's
fine
I am prepared to cross the line
It's about time I claim what's
mine.

Hold me now, dance with me
In these rainy days and muds
I give you my heart to feel
The aim is to survive the floods
listen to the rhythm of my
heartbeat
and let's dance to the great love

You are like a drug to my soul
you take me high
Spread your wings and let us fly
Fly high to the sky so I can try
One of the stars on your finger
for there is a knot I want to tie

If I were to show what love is
I would just show your picture
for you are the only love I
know.

My mind has become a fountain
of thoughts of you
Let us plant a tree that will
never fall
For there are healthy fruits I
want it to give
In our family tree where I'm
prepared to live
Let us plant a tree that will
never fall
Our family tree where I'm
prepared to live

My African Queen

My true African Queen
with the beauty I've never seen
The one who got me in this
scene
On your love I can always lean

Can it be your soothing touch
that vanishes away all the pain
in my heart, increasing
the love intensity I have for
you.

Is it your meandering body
that has got my love flowing
in you like water in the river
finding no way out

Can it be your dazzling smile
that weakens me, brightening
up my day that makes me fall
More and more for you

This love that I feel,
Is It the love from you
Or is it your sparkling beauty
that reflects all the love I have
for you right back to me

Can it be your melodic voice
that ingresses in my ears
that causes my heart to dance
This joy In me is no pretense

Is it the softness and the
juiciness
of your lips that quench my
thirst
for love whenever we kiss
this, always brings out the bliss

My true African Queen
Your love I forever want to feel
You are my full meal
For you I'd kill
My true african Queen

Infected Minds

Hatred walking tall in the streets
of the hearts of our
GENERATIONS
Blood spilled painting the
ground red
Making the evil not to feel bad
but as VIPs Phela they now are
walking on the red carpet
The cries shed turning into
the welcoming melody as
they enter the gates of hell
Drowning the happiness of this
world into a very deep well

The money gave birth to
uMUVHANGO
That constructed hell on earth
The burning flames of
greediness
burnt families down to ashes
when death knocks at your door
it breaks down all the latches
It doesn't matter which rout it
took
it can come via your relatives
your blood can one day be a
catalyst
to speed up the witchcraft
reaction
as to give birth to wealthiness

I feel THE NEED to set free my
fears
and let them walk tall in the
streets
of your minds with flyers
proposing unity
Let's all stand up in search of
dignity
How I long to live life vividly
In your heart as hatred intrude
on your knees fall like you just
had a heart attack but in your
prayers
Include also the victims in his
list

The soil swallowed the souls
of THE YOUNG AND THE
RESTLESS
The brave ones that stood up,
ducked and sucked bullets
Into their bodies for our
freedom
with nothing but stones in their
hands
The freedom implanted laziness
and greediness in today's youth
we are not xerophytes,
we can't survive in this dry land
we need to fight

your journey has brought you
into
this very dark life you are in
Wake up your mind, open up
your eyes
there is hell and there is heaven
you are at the junction, make
yur choice
The right choice will give you
honor
But the wrong turn leads you to
horror

True Love

TRUE LOVE

To love be peace
for it is confused with lust
If its love, it should last
But lust never lasts
In lust we dive in so fast
but we always regret at last

Hearts have been broken
Tears have fallen
Some words were spoken
with the aim to soften
hearts and get panties
loosened

That's just lust

True love
A feeling so fine
that no words can define
When two hearts entwine
true love will incline
The feeling of true love

True love never hates
True love never fades
It pays no attention to traits
It has revolting debates
But true love always embrace
Because true love tolerates

I Deserve To Be Free

I need to be free why am I chained!
Is all this something that is planned
to leave me confused and strained,
and submitting to being tamed.

What did I do to deserve to be stoned!
My sexuality is not to be blamed
Like everyone else I was also made
to love whoever I find passionate

I am walking tall but dead inside,
my soul and spirit were ripped apart
the day he found me playing alone outside,
in me he forced himself even when I cried!

I need to be free why am I pained!
My heart was clean why is it stained!
Yes I am a lesbian I am not straight,
does that mean I deserve to be raped?

Twinkle little ones you can shine.
Never let the world try to assign
you in categories that don't define
the true person that you are inside

The Past

You very big ugly monster
have overshadowed my happiness
at night I lay sleepless
you have stolen my smile
these tears I have are my witness
you soured my life's sweetness

You very big ugly monster
have foreseen my weakness
the lack of my heart's fitness
in handling heartache as an illness
I cry because if I remain speechless
then my whole life will be a sickness

The past should remain in the past
why are you passing on to my future
In my mind I do not want you to last
for you have become a torture
Experiencing you was a nightmare
I do not ever want to see you near me

Like a foster parent
I thought I could live with you
but how do I live with a monster so errant
You have ruined my precious life
you are nothing important
back off, my happiness is dormant

I pass my past in the past
for it has passed
I pass my focus on to the future
for my happiness lies with it
I won't let the past with no behaviour
rest on my shoulders and be heavier

Crush

I have gone through my checklist
and for all the points in my list
there is none that you missed
that's when I knew that If this isn't
love then love don't exist

The thought of you fills my stomach with butterflies
giving rise to undefined depth of my love for you
Your smile takes my mind miles away
to a place that is infertile to lies

The thought of you spell love in my mind,
not that I mind, I mean, this feeling is hard to find
and now that I've found it, I just have to let it bind
me with the one I love

Just the sound of your voice
Overflows my heart with joy
taking me to a moment I enjoy
The sweetest melodic voice
that never will annoy me

My crush, the gift that rescued
my heart from the mist of loneliness
My thoughts about love have been
gentle twisted by your kindness
Your sweetest personality
ignited love flames in my heart

When the night gives way to the day
I'll be your sun to make your day bright
when the day gives way to the night
I'll be there to hold you tight
I promise to always do you right

My love knows no seasons
My love is for you to lean on
I will be your shoulder to cry on
I will be your everything
I will be your true love

Time's Change

They use hearts as a symbol of
love
How will I ever show love when
my heart is broken
Spilling gallons and gallons of
madness
Sadness doesn't define the pain
I'm feeling

A piece of my puzzle slipped
right through my hands
Crazy moments of madness
elapsed with cruel hands of time
My mind constantly taking me
back in time
When every glimpse we shared
spelled love
before love was deprived of us

Words mean nothing when
actions aren't part of them
Love means nothing when we
not part of it
You are in my mind because
you are part of me
I hate what's drifting you apart
from me

Loneliness striped my feelings
naked
even my pride has betrayed me
Faith is the only friend I have
One day I wanna be able to call
you mine
memories give a reflection of a
smile
on my face

I've swallowed my pride
but still starving of you
My heart was shallowed
The moment you walked out of
me
Let me wear your warm love
so I can walk in in life

Victims of Love

Let me not to enticing you
and give you hope that you doubt
Allow me not to excite you
with a momemt of pleasure and dimes

Your dreams are your future
they are not for a moment
Regrets haunt forever
and are not for a moment

I see love turnng to lies
a result of happiness' cry
When love tries to find a site
know that instincts never lie

Demolished homes I see
with broken pieces of soul
Once were promised love
when the weather was cold

Peace can't find its home
the atmosphere is blury
those who found peace
are those that we buried
