How Do You

When you have a friend
who wants their life to end, 
how do you let them know that they actually mean something?
How do you tell them that you are truly their friend?
when everyone else has left them in the end?
How do you explain that you understand their pain?
How do you let them know that your not lying
when you sit there and watch them say that they feel like dying?
How do you let them know that they are not alone
and that you too feel alone?
How can you sit there while they want you to hear?
You sit there and watch them cry because they want to die?
How can you sit there and comfort them 
when what you say scares you that it wont help them?
How can you sit there and watch them go through this pain?
that they have gained?
