Silent Movies

I could put Charlie Chaplin to shame,
With the silent movies playing in my head
Like black and white reruns of all the times
You made my heart race, made the butterflies flutter
In these movies you never let me go.
No kiss was ever the last kiss
Your arms, my fortress where I am safe and loved
Who knew our love story would turn in to a nightmare
Shredded and shattered you still own all the pieces
Of the heart that beat just for you.

Enlightenment

So enlighten me what is true love?
It's unbreakable, but its more than that
it's without boundaries and without conditions
it's without requirements,it's without doubts
and its never ending, it runs deep and constant
deep within you like a river with no end
it reminds you with every look and touch
with every letter of every syllable of every word
with every brick of the obsticals it over came
it turns into the air you breathe
it intoxicates you, infects your very being
everything you do and how you do it changes
you think of this person and your body tingles
with antisipation, with need
and when you think of it ending you get a little colder
and you feel dead inside when you realize
its really over and it wasn't what you thought it was
but it doesn't matter if you know what true love is
what matters is that you have it and hold on tight
so, don't leave me... don't let this go

Love Games

You left too soon and now I am standing in the ruble that remains,
Of me and what we had. I got nothing but empty promises a broken heart& these tear stains.
You said forever then a fresh start &I’m trapped, you’re gone
Was it real for you it was real to me was it just a game was I just your pawn.
Well check mate I’m in the corner. I’ll fight till the last round
Despite all that’s happened I think it was love that we found.
Love is a gamble or that’s what they say I bet all I had and came out under
I feel like it was my fault but you’re the one that took the blunder

Lifeline

Walk beside me through the struggle of life
My lifeline as you claim to be as I battle my demons, face my darkness,
But you, you my love pry me out of my shell, you make me exposed
But you, you my love when it is our turn, you shy away.
Your addictions, your demons are your secrets.
I'm pushing your boundaries of privacy as you push me away
I thought we were companions, partners in crime.
But you, you my love, walk alone
Your choice as I am refused choices,
now reduced to a ball of worry and tears, and you can't deal
But my love, but, I am right here.
Your lifeline as I claim to be.

The First

friendly faces in the eyes of those I have not met
familiar touches in new found fingers still not well known.
all seem unimportant when I imagine....
dreams of the sheer ecstasy of your phantom touch
quivers of pleasures my body has not yet felt by you or any other.
feelings felt and words spoken only meant for souly you
intimate details reveal themselves, drawn out of me by your smooth tongue and soft lips.
those three words that mean so much show me the entirity if their meaning
tangled in with lust and devotion.
unfamiliar whirlwind of consciousness, emotions
all I have left to say
the only thing left to say
I love you

Purpose

Everything in life has a purpose..
Or so they say.
Everything down to the dirt in your boots
And the thorn in your side.
All the times your heart breaks
Comes a friend to mend it.
Every tear you shed sparkles with emotion edged in reason.
Even if you are too caught up in the moment
To know or realize its purpose.
Every loss is followed by something to gain.
The feeling of emptiness is to give purpose
To the person coming to fill you up.
You may frown now but a smile has to come sometime,
Just like the sun after the storm.
You feel pain in order to feel true pleasure,
And frown to appreciate the smile.
And there has to be an ending to remind you why you began.

Untitled 1

You filled me up, then packed your stuff, now I’m sittin’ here with barren walls
leading to barren fields, frozen to the bone without the warmth of your affection

You gave me wings I didn't want; you pushed me when I don’t know how to fly
Spread your wings while mine are clipped; bask in your distractions when I can’t even sleep,
afraid to dream of you. I feel sick while you’re enjoying this I’m stuck in a world without you

You left to your open roads to stretch your wings and you left me with no place
to feel like home. You’re arms were my shelter but you've left to embrace any
other and claim to still love me.

Tortured Souls

we are tortured souls
that bask in the sun
we feel it burn away our pain
and warm our faces
our teary eyed smiles are not filled
with joy but with relief
we visit the sea of our sadness
and feel the sand between our toes
the wind of our exasperated sighs wisp delicately though our hair
we dive in to the ocean with waters
made up of the product of our despair
is now the cause of our satisfaction
the salt from our eyes now cleans our wounds
the two of us arrive back to the shore not dead
but on a new plain of life
We are tortured souls
that bask in the moon light
we welcome the beams of familiarity
and the darkness not passing judgment
our starry eyes are merely reflecting the stars
not the shining of leaking emotions.
Contentment a feeling,
an old friend that we had departed from long ago
now returns with a warm feeling and welcoming embrace
Peace something I am not sure we have experienced is now here
We are tortured souls that bask in the darkness
under many layers of earth enveloping us down in to it
Finally dead and finally living
We fear for our last moments and at the same time we are anxious
It is done
