Mirror

Some people see perfection,
and I know what I’m not.
I wish I had that mirror that shows what I forgot.
It shows the imperfection and shows that we're just people.
It knows that we are sinful and perfect we are not.
If only I could get it right, but then what would be the point, of living and of loving fully with one’s heart?
That mirror can be blinding
Or open up your eyes.
You might just start as being vain,
But by the end that all will change.

New Start

Can I get a new start?
Just to be myself, and caring nothing but raising hell?
I only wish to start again to be a better child,
for with my life and choices I had to be an adult
or else i woulds cried and lost my mind.
If you ever wondered about sexting,I'll tell you that it's bad.
Almost being charged with that will never compare,
to the look on my mom and dad's face.

Past, Present, and Future

The past is gone and behind me,
the future is yet to come.
The present is here today and promises everything to everyone.

Since the past is gone and behind me,
it shows its importance,
and since the future has yet to come i have something to lokk forward to.

The present, is like its name, a gift that could be here to stay.

You Know Who You Are

Trying my hardest
just to get through my day,
seeing you makes it impossible.

Why does this have to happen this way?
The more i find out,
the less i wish to know.

Show me the truth
and i shall look upon your face.

your face is shrouded in lies,
what do i believe
or is all of you fake?

I Need a New Muse

I find myself hating life, but only because of you.

The lies you tell have become truth's to me but only you can tell.

The truth is what I need but it won't ever be from you.

Saying sorry a million times but only meaning next time i'll tell a better lie.

I need a new muse because this one's dead, or did that run from me too?

To the Dead

To those who died,
i wish to say:
rest in peace as we still pray,
for more in life
and a longer day.

The things we want but do not need
will take our time,
until we no longer breathe.

What Should I Call This One 2

My heart, it still beats
but as still as i lie here
i feel more and more broken.

I want the magic potion,
or old time sorcery
to cure the pain
but kill the hurt
deep inside of me.

My breathing is not shallow
my pulse is not yet weak,
but i know that i am dying
with each and every beat.

They say i will be just fine,
and nothings left to do
I guess i will just get back up
and keep on fighting through.

The day has ended but yet i stay
remembering every single day,
i cured the hurt and killed the pain
now theres nothing left to say.

What Should I Call This

Yesterday,
well it feels so far away, like a million years ago
and like ive been in a starry haze.

At night looking up at the sky,
was like when we were together
and when everything was green and new;
but everything good has to come to an end.

If i could sleep forever
and forget everything
it would not be long enough.
