Look No Further

I've been in search for that smile,
Some serenity when the rest of the world has gone wild.
I've been searching for an end to all this pain,
Searching for an end to this rain.
The dampness of my skin, the weight from the wetness,
As I beg and plead for God to bless us.
                     Look No Further
You've cried your last cry, no more shall you shed tears,
No more misery, and no more fears.
I've come to give you, all that of what you need,
Look no further, your heart shall no longer bleed.
All things your soul has yearned for and desired,
Have kept me truly inspired.
No more fussing, no more fights,
No more guns bussin' in the middle of the night.
Not one more child should be laid to rest,
Job well done, you've passed your test.
Your race is over, you've crossed that finish line,
Look No Further my rock you shall find.
My shelter from the storm,
My rays of the sun, Look No Further for I am the One.

Lost In Your Eyes

Lost In Your Eyes.

Damn I just can't help but to stare,
You got me dazin', so lost in your glare.
You tellin' me with your eyes that you want an affair,
I can feel it already, we gon' take it there.
Every time we talk, we manage to laugh a lot,
This our lil' secret, we don't need to get caught.
You see me? I can't help but to see you,
Got me shakin' my head as if I haven't got a clue.
This new found thing we share has taken me by surprise,
Believe me when I tell you I never meant to get:

 Lost In Your Eyes.

Does God Look Good On Me

DOES GOD LOOK GOOD ON ME?

God is Good- And how Good he is Amen.
I'm speakin bout my wardrobe today-
Mainly one outfit that has been in my closet for years. I wore this outfit as a lil' girl a few times, but as I got older I hung this outfit back in my closet, and closed the door, opened it up, and pulled that outfit off the banger- Put it On-and Wow!!! Fits so right, feels so good-Sorry all-but this is one outfit that is not sold in stores. This outfit is Jesus.
See coming up in the projects, being middle class hand me downs- I was quiet, shy, smart, honor roll student, child of God deeply blessed & rooted in my music. Music being one of the many gifts God has give me. I use to be a part of an organization called the Boston All Star Talent Show Network.
I started out as a volunteer/performer, selling tickets- competing- Business to business donations-artist liason- public relations-security, and representative. God made all this possible, but I never even thanked Him. Never even put Him on.
I was at the top of my game, Then I woke up. I woke up to alchol, drugs, hopping in strangers cars( no not about sex, but just to get rides up the block and that could have gotten me killed.) I was stealing and robbing. I had 3 children, dealing with different relationships. I had hung that outfit called Jesus back into the closet and things got real ugly, Quick!!! All the shelters, the names I was being called, the games I played. Sleeping in abandoned cars, abandoned buildings, All of it ugly. Why am I walking around here in ugly when all I had to do was go to my closet, open that door, and put on Jesus instead I ended up her in South Bay Jail. Even here there's this closetand today I opened that door, pulled that outfit off the hanger- Put on God and wow!!!! I looked in the mirror from every angle, and what an amazing sight.
I now look Good with God draped over me, I'm still goin through my trials and tribulationsbut my struggles are now managable.
Today I desire to wear God, I love God, I worship God, I want to walk the path He has pathed for me. So I'm askin you today,
Does God Look Good On Me?

Listen My Children

LISTEN MY CHILDREN

It was put on my heart to share with you His story,
To tell you how He rose to glory.
 How He fed many,
Always had plenty for all and any.
The sick, He touched and made well,
Listen My Children to the story I tell.
He says to us: Cast all your burdens down,
In Him you can seek solid ground.
When you feel as though you can't go on,
Cause the road is rough, winding and long.
Open up your mouth and sing a song,
Testify to how good God has been,
At your side through the thick and thin.
The only One who can secure a building,
 Shhhhhhhh just listen my children.
You hear the sound of the rain,
 Dropping against the window pane,
 Casting away all your pain,
 Allowing you to keep sain.
Listen My Children and you will hear,
A story of Jesus, so loud and clear.

With My Heart I Forgive

With My Hear I Forgive

Buried deep inside of me is a burning desire for you,
A memory embedded there that I know to be true.
Through the softest whisper I've been told that you apologize,
For all the pain and agony, for all the deceit and all the lies.
I tossed and turnin', having inner battles with my soul,
Do I allow love to stay or leave, have I lost all control.
I'd be lying to myself to say I hate you,
Maybe at this time is was meant for me not to relate to you.
Even so I encourage you to breathe to live,
And know that With My Heart I Forgive.
I ask of you for the same forgiveness in return,
We can count this as a lesson in life and love that we had to learn.
The tears burn my soft gentle skin,
The beauty's gone, I face the ugly within.
Where there use to be you and me is now a fading memory,
I don't want to believe that this is how things are to be.
But what is, is. And I will forever never be the same,
Oneday, someday I won't hold you to blame.
Even so I encourage you to breathe to live,
And know that With My Heart I Forgive.

My Shirt

My Shirt
I love the way you feel against my skin, so soft, so snug,
Fit so tight, like a hand in a glove.
My favorite color, my favorite style,
Sorry I haven't worn you in a while.
You're my lucky one, only to be worn when needed,
Only when I'm feelin' defeated.
One arm in, then I do the other,
You're my good luck charm and there could never be another.
My Shirt.?
