Missing My Mommy

They say you don’t know what you got until it’s gone.
Well I am here to tell you it’s true.

I never knew how much I looked to my mom for her advice.
I really suppressed the feelings of love for my mother, but now that she is gone I
would give anything to tell her how much I do and did love her. Just to hug her
once again, to brush her mane of gold, or even to do that one more favor she
may need from me. It would be worth it you know.

Every now and then I can sense her presence. I hear her words, coughs, and
beckoning. I can smell her and feel her beside me telling me it is ok, she is now
out of pain and happier than she had been for a really long time, but I can’t help
missing my mommy.

She used to encourage me to have a mind of my own and not to just go along
with the crowd, but to be one of a kind. Although she had a hard time telling how
much she loved me or showing appreciation for the woman I had become she
tried even if I didn’t see it at the time.

She may not have been the most nurturing mother of all times and I must admit
that she quite the selfish one, but no matter she was still my mommy.

There are days when everywhere I turn I see things no matter how slight, that
remind me of her. It may be a song or television show she liked. Maybe it is a
flower or something of nature or it could be a sentimental item she would have
liked, but it all still echoes of my mommy just the same.

When in midstream of thoughts of her it is difficult to bring myself back to the
reality that she is gone from this cruel place we call Earth.

The only thing that truly comforts me is knowing she is not really all that far away
and someday I will see her again in heaven, she will be the one talking Jesus’
and God’s ears off.

As for me at this moment I am not so sad anymore even though I am missing my
mommy.

Thinking About You

I’ve been thinking about you.
Every night I hope and I pray to be with you.
You are the only one I dream of,
I Love You!

We could have been best friends, partners, lovers, and all.
I want to believe there could be a very special love that lives within us.
As together we are really one.
I need your love for tonight and forever.

Life is so short, but we could build a life together
until the end of time comes.
Because I’ve been thinking and dreaming about you,
in everyday and night of my life.
You will be there with me.
I’m just thinking about you.

Alone In Life

Life without you is like being dead.
There’s no purpose to get up or to go through the day.
When you’re alone its like just being empty inside, nothing has any meaning. Life
has no reason to go on.
Everybody needs somebody to share everydays.
When the sun comes up it is so much better to share the beauty of the sunrise
with someone.
When it rains it’s better to stay in bed and share the beauty of the rainfall.
Just everday, the little things are great when you have someone to share them
with. When you are alone it has no meaning because it becomes no fun, just
loneliness.
You feel just empty and without purpose in life- when you are by yourself. We all
need someone- it started since the day we were born to the day we die.

His Plans Not Ours

Preparation and “To-Do-Lists” can never truly prepare you
For what great plans God has in store for each and EVERY one of us.

We may ourselves telling God our plans, which is probably
Quite humorous to Him.

His agenda will inevitably be carried out and is the perfect plan without a doubt.

I pray that all will be able to reach within themselves to find the person whom
God has intended them to be and be eager to fulfill God’s glorious plans as they
are always the best laid ones.

How Beautiful Is the Sun

The warmth of the sun as it shines upon my face not only makes my face glow,
but it also helps my gloomy heart to radiate a soft aura.
How intense and powerful this star we call the sun.
As it slowly seeps up over the horizon from the East, it already begins its
marvelous shimmer. The radiant reds, fiery oranges, and even a touch of
yellow- for good measure.
Once it is risen from the horizon level it is so majestic,
How it mirrors over the ocean and along the beach. It continues to rise overhead,
while we scurry about our day and hectic lives.
We take its energy and light for granted not even thinking twice about if it were not
there.
Yes I believe sunrises are so special, but have you seen the brilliance of colors
in the sky when it is time for the sun to set.
They say if the sun is setting over the water you can hear it hiss.
As for me I would like to think it is true.
Some of the most beautiful sunsets occur over the water with pretty shades of
pinks, peach, and not to mention those purple colors. The way the colored
clouds seem to signal the end of another glorious day of light from our intense
star, the sun.

Baby

Your love lifts me higher,
	And fills me with desire.
Your love makes me feel,
	Oh, so very real!
How can I make you see,
What you really mean to me!
Oh Baby, say you’ll stay,
	And never ever go away.
Dear don’t mess with my mind,
Because they say that love’s so blind.

Your love has to be strong,
Because I don’t want to be lead on.
Our love it has to be deep.
‘Cause in the night I cannot sleep.
You’re always thought about,
And baby I love you beyond a doubt.
When I think of you it makes me cry;
I love you so much I want to die!!

Baby I am so afraid,
	That our love will fade.
Will you ever find out,
	What love is all about.
Baby I don’t want to fight,
Because our love has got to be right.
Oh why can’t it be the way it used to…
	Honey I need your love,
And baby I need you!

I wish I could find a way to make you stay.
If you don’t believe why don’t you just leave.
Why do you tell all your other lovers;
That there is nothing between us?
You said it was all a big mistake,
That our love was a fake.
Ya, baby you know it’s true….
In spite of it all, I really DO love you!!

The Last Week of Life

If you knew it were your last week of life, how would you spend it?

Would you remember to pay old debts or call old friends?

Would you make amends with your family?

Within that last week of life, what will be the most important issues to you?

Do you visit a far away land or just have someone close and hold their hand?

Take a moment to consider how you will spend your time, please spend it wisely.

I pray that the precious last week of everyone’s life be spent in joy and peace.

Take time everyday to make time to say all the things that are most important
within your heart, because all too often we never know when our last week of life
on earth will be.

He Is Wonderful

His heart is full of love for me,
He loves me so much I can hardly believe.
His arms are strong and secure like the bond between us.
	He thinks I am gorgeous
But I know he is the one who is terrific.
He is everything I never knew I needed.
He is my perfect match, He makes my life complete.
His unconditional love is one of a kind- unique.
The way he gazes into my eyes,
He peers into my soul and sets my heart on fire.
From the moment he said he loved me my heart just melt.
This awesome of a love I could have never felt.
He has tremendous faith in me.
The kind of faith some may never see.
This is the man that God put in my path
To hold my hand and to be with me until the end.
“He” is my wonderful husband, whom I love
More than mere words on a page could EVER express.

Remember I Am Your Friend

When times get stressful and you need someone to listen to the cares of your
world, just remember you have a friend in me.

When you feel like nobody understands your thoughts and feelings, just
remember I am your friend and I too have been there before.

And as your friend I want you to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are a
wonderful person inside and out.

You are the kind of person that poets write about.

Even though I may not get to see you everyday and share in all your deeds
whether good or bad, know that I am never too far away for letters, calls or e-
mails. With us having so many similarities, I trust we can be friends for many
years to come.

You truly are a great person whom I am grateful God put in my path through this
journey called life. My life wouldn’t have been the same if I never would have met
you.

Thank you for being you.
