Forbidden Pleasure

Talk to me again,
Tell me a lie
For a lie from you is my sustenance.
From its crooked pleasure my skin cramps,
My heart's pace races
To where forbidden pleasure ends.
Tell me words of hopeless truth i pray,
It made my days
Still does.
I hide in its warmth
Basking in ignorance.

Tell it to me again,
That you love me
For it made me smile
When you once did
Like that last season.
Those words from your lips,
Made me breath this mch.
Your tongue's speech stood untrue
Giving my sanity solid posture
I saw the lie in your eyes
I loved it.

Great Expectations

I stood in day's youth,
With intent to embrace sunlight.
Yet there stood,
Dew and frost.
That froze day
Along with my joy.
I planned to sing in the sun
And chase a Summer's day butterfly
Great expectations.
All in vain...
Shall i curse at lady winter,
For her unplanned visit
Or elongated stay.
Shall i kiss her cold lips rather,
As a blessing
Thanking the Gods
For her escape through time's palms
That brings her here.

Holding Hands

I will bring wine,
Thick wine a ripe vine’s tear.
We will be sipping it slow,
To a dim dusk sunlight
Of a March day
Wearing smiles of accomplishment.
You will kiss me,
I know after this you will.
We will name him,
A name fair
Like a yellow daffodil
Or her with love
Like a fairy’s heart.
And be there
Holding hands,
With joy and time
Calling the child ours

Day and Night

Dear beautiful woman
Whose hand weaves the finest linen
That all praise sings to.
How would you weave my heart
If I let you to it?
Will you?
For raw it is I swear,
Like a seed of a newborn bull.

If you be water,
And I a feather
Can I trust you to lead me
And let me float on you
Like a voice that rides air
Into ears far,
Will you carry me
Will I not drown.

Will you be day and I be night
And we kiss all midnights
Whilst we take turns
To name or end day
And live to be known by mankind
As Day and Night
