A Home In the Countryside

A Home in the Countryside

Who could resist,
The country greens,
The clean air,
And the wonderful scenes?

We lived in a house,
In the middle of a field,
The green grass stood by,
The trees a shield,

The smell of freshness,
The scene of joys,
The feeling of peace,
The silent noise.

We sat on the porch,
The evening so long,
We just sat and relaxed,
Till the dinner gong.

In the night we saw,
The stars so bright,
The sky so black,
Against their twinkling light.

A scene of serenity,
All year round,
Makes the heart give,
A joyful pound.

School Is Cool

School is Cool?

School is cool he says,
Pardon, what have you just said?
I think you must be feeling ill,
You had better retire to bed.

School is definitely not cool,
It is nastier than the flu,
Your statement is incorrect,
For they massacre you without a clue.

Exams, tests and no games are on their torture list,
It’s just a question of time,
Don’t say I didn’t warn you,
Their punishments are bitterer than lime.

What you see on the brochure,
Are the good things that are small,
But the torture that is at large,
Is under cover at the assembly hall.

So make your decision,
Wise I say,
Of your hates and likings,
And enjoy your of happy days.

Teachers Love

Teachers Love

Please hug me teacher for I know my ABC,
Rings in the mind,
Of every young child.

Everyone is a teacher’s pet,
It is not true that their mind is set.

All children are equal in the eyes of a teacher,
They are all perfectly innocent like a modest young preacher.

They love their students for who they are,
Whether naughty or noisy or scoffling chocolate bars

They may seem strict when it comes to punishing,
All what they really try to do is remove the developed tarnishing.

They are there to lighten your cave,
With their knowledge and emotion coming in a wave.

So love your teacher for what they do,
For if they don’t do it, who will do?

The Land of Golden Deserts and Silver Skyscrapers Uae

The land of Golden Deserts and Silver Skyscrapers – U.A.E

Vast areas are covered by golden sand,
That runs like liquid through your hand,
The skyscrapers reach into the blue sky,
Waving below to every fascinated passer-by.

The golden dunes stretch for miles around,
The skyscraper’s foundations run aground,
The camels roam on the desert sand,
And the skyscrapers give shade beneath their hand.

The people gaze from side to side,
The desert stands open with great big pride,
The people gaze up to down,
The skyscrapers sit tall wearing their crown.

This wonderful area lies,
Seen from the road and from the skies,
Decorated with skyscrapers and sand,
Their beauty precedes in this wonderful land.

Blame Yourself

Blame Yourself

Standing by the open door,
You look upon a dismal garden,
No flowers. Just dull.

Are you saying,
That a flower will bloom,
Among these rock and stones,
Of sorrow and woe?

Nay, all that will grow is a weed,
You can’t change that. For all I know,
It was you who planted the seed there.

You think that you can do the deed,
Play a game of hide-and-seek,
And just turn away the blame and fault,
And hide in an underground vault?

Cry, as the flower withers,
And a bee turns away sad,
No nectar. Its gone,
Way into the past.

Turn away from that door,
And see the dim lit house,
The house is your past,
The garden your present.

What He Got, For Loyal He Remained

“What He Got, For Loyal He Remained”
A man dead here, A man dead there, A sword fallen here, A sword fallen there. Bewildered, The general looked around, His heart, Beginning to thump and pound. His army was torn, His fighters were dead, And everyone would question, By whom were they lead. His heart told him to stay, His mind told him to go, The face of the king, The face of the foe. The battle would be lost, Not necessarily the war, The confusion of illusion, The wrath of thor. As he stood there thinking, His heart divided in to, His army was fleeing, What should he do. No, he decided, What a coward he would be, If a losing battle, Even he would flee So he picked up his sword, And struck upon the enemy, Turning a losing battle, Into a great, big victory. He didn’t live to see the celebrations, For he was killed by astray arrow, But his achievement was great, For the chances were narrow. His name went in history, His bravery others did crave, And what he did get, Was a decorated grave!

An Angel For Me

A silhouette stands against the darkness of the night,
Giving out a soft, welcoming light.

And as the face turns upon me,
Something I don’t foresee,
A young girl I behold,
Her beauty untold.

A beautiful maiden,
Soft brown eyes,
And pink lips,
That bear no lies.

And with grace and elegance,
She came towards me,
A floating figure,
An angel for me.

And closer she came,
And wrapped her arms round me,
Those beautiful eyes,
Was all I could see.

And as we looked into each others eyes,
We only knew one thing then…
True Love

Natures Beauty

Natures Beauty

I walked along the green hills might,
Ah wasn’t it a pleasant sight,
Whether its day whether its night,
The beauty pierced white and bright.

The water in the lake stood still,
It was what I wanted, it fitted the bill,
I watched as a lion watches its kill,
Stunned by its beauty I stood like a mill.

And the sky twinkles at night with stars,
The morning sky with a sunlight scar,
The sun began its journey like a car,
And finishes up resting at the bar.

The universe stood open wide,
Exposing it’s beauty along its side,
To experience it, rules we must abide,
If you feel it truly you would have cried!

Punishment Inc

Punishment Inc.

We are called by your elders,
To take care of you,
When you are extra jumpy,
And solve a problem or two

We wait for you round the corner,
At any time of the day,
We jump at you anytime,
 You have nothing to say.

We lock you in a room,
We have a stout stick on you to lay,
You may kick and you may shout,
But that’s where you will stay.

We’ll tell you that you have,
Every fault on earth,
From shouting and yelling,
To hanging from the upper berth,

We break you down,
And miserable you feel,
The naughtiness and stupidity,
All begin to heal.

The next morning is a surprise,
Your hair is no more like hay,
Your parents are amazed,
At what we managed to do in a day.

Your room is clean,
Your clothes are neat,
You behave really well,
And people’s heart misses a beat.
(Cos they can’t believe you are neat)

This wonderful behavior,
Goes on for a week,
And our help,
No longer your parents seek.

But after a week,
We are back to the first square,
For your habits are back,
And are efforts have gone where?

A Journey By Sea

A Journey By Sea

The water rose and fell,
The wind dropped and blew,
We continued to sail,
Through dust and through dew,

The sails were hoisted,
The captain took the wheel,
The man in the crows’ nest,
Warned of a whales or a seal.

The captain steered,
With strength and might,
To reach safe land,
Before the dead of night.

Can we forget? Not we,
The olden days and the journey by sea?
