Madness

The madness is closing in,
I can feel its stagnant breath.
It beckons : " It's easier to give in
than face sanity's wrath."

"Hope is but the unforgiving sun,
that leads feathered fools to their deaths.
Fairness is but a laughable pun,
that old men joke to their cats."

I can only find solace
in my digital domain of songs.
Fake stories of love and grace,
the only right in all these wrongs.

The madness is closing in,
I can feel its stagnant breath.
Maybe I should give in,
than follow destiny's path.

Stammer -Sf

The pulse races,
the mind falters,
the tongue stumbles,
the speech a-jumble.

My wretched stammer
leaves aspirations in tatters.
My heart broken
by the words unspoken.

Smog

The atrocity of greed has never reached so high;
The morality of man has never plunged so low.

For who but greed-fueled man would commit such an act,
forcing vanguards to poison what they were born to protect?

Across the sea, the souls of trees weep;
Into our lungs, the stink of death creep.

Hullo, Mr Reaper

Hullo, Mr. Reaper!
or should I call you Grim?
Let's be best friends, Mr. Reaper
My pals call me Tim.

Take me to Heaven, Mr. Reaper!
Where I'll eat my cereals with silver spoons.
Bring me to Hell, Mr. Reaper!
Where I'll slay demons like heroes in cartoons.

Take me away, Mr. Reaper!
So that mommy wouldn't have to beg no more ;
So that daddy wouldn't get beaten up no more ;
just to pay the greedy doctors in nasty suits.

Tell me a story, Mr. Reaper !
A story that will never end.
Fix me a good night's sleep,
and wake me in Wonderland.

Grant me a wish, Grim !
A wish of a thousand pennies worth.
When mom asks about me in her dreams,
just tell her that it didn't hurt.

Monster

Fear not what your people speak of you,
because I know you don't care.
Fear not what judgements the West rains upon you,
because you know they don't dare.
Fear the monster you've become,
and beware,
for the truth, its pleading and crying
you cannot bear,
choosing to believe instead
the lies you fervently declare.
