Conflict of Perception

Conflict of Perception

I am amazed to see you fight out
The perception people hold for you
You do not look like a bright star
And shine like a moon in the sky
So they think that you are nothing but a big zero
Whereas you go daily to measure
The potentiality you have inside you

Your ability you see like a pond
And you know well the amount of water it holds
Like a diver you dive and know its depth
And happily go to imagine if you use
And you are going to use your ability definitely soon
And you become a king of your desired field
And you are burning like a lamp
Or under the sun least you are shining like a coin
And you start behaving like the one
You one day want to be
Here I see a conflict of opinion
Rather a battle between you and the people
And you are fighting well like a man who has
Huge potential to do big things in life real.

The Grace of a Shooting Star

They asked me to go
To the hills, oceans, valleys and deep steeps
To see the beauty of danger
The mighty of height
The glory of width
So that I may sing from the bottom soul
Or may write from the depth of my understanding
Their suggestion is very welcome
But very annoyed to reply them that in my heart i have a bird
It sings all the time from the top of a hill
For the whole humanity living in the valleys and plains
It dives into the womb of an unfathomable ocean
To fetch gems and pearls till untouched
In doing so all the above
I many times fall as a climber falls in a steep
I know the gorges and their networks of trap
Bog is not unknown to me too
Many times I slip into its web
And you might go to wonder and express aw
Knowing that all these lie all time in front of my poetic eyes
Realised in the heart and expressed though the mind
In my soul i hold the whole cosmos
And its untold sorrow and pain
I go through every moment in my veins
Yet I play the string and with the music I dance like a peacock
Laugh like a child, blow and flow like the river and like the wind
No ill for any one,
No time i have to execute the role of a devil
No, i am not a sage, not a saint
I know not all, i am not a fake
I am genuine with human blood and flesh
Yet i keep my thought falling like a fountain
Pure white and chaste
By carving the basic instincts lust greed and the lure of telling lies
I bent like a rainbow when the urge of wanton wanting comes up
Without any bias and prejudice
Right and wrong I judge
True and false I decide with the rays of the sun
With the serene beauty of the moon I distinguish
Between the race of man and the race of dogs
And I do all the things I mention above
With the help of love I get from the waves while kissing shores
And keep riding with the pride of a tip facing harshness
With a consciousness of a hill
I wish not to lose justness
Even if, I fall from a cliff
As I find grace in a star while shooting
And glory in the height of rain drops while falling.

If I Am Not a Born Poet

If I Am Not A Born Poet

If i am not a born poet
Then who really are
As I see table spoons
To seal rice and curry
From the far away moon
While i can’t from a dish
That kept ready on table
Full of boneless salmon fish

I see also the forks
As naughty as spoons
To cut spaghetti in air
To make it fall again
Upon my shampooed hair

If i am not a born poet
Then who really are
As i take my pet lizard
To the field to eat grass
While bring lions home
Thinking them stupid ass.

However what i do
And what i write
That does not matter
I am a born poet
For the reason wonder
That my mind holds great.

Me My Bicycle and Life

me and my bicycle
are in a queer relation
at least in the state of running
at high speed it keeps balance
but off balance my life becomes
while I drive at low speed

me and my life
now at loggerheads
at least in the matter of speed
my life runs well like a bicycle
but at the age of forty
I could not afford high speed
upon putting much efforts
I develop back pain.

Nationalists

Nationalists

Demonise the religious extremism with full force
How sweet it is that I am with you
Be it Islam, Christianity, Hinduism or Buddhism
No heck to distinguish any one from the others
They are the same weed of the same soil
Eating up the crop of humanity
But what about nationalism and its product the nationalists
They are not less criminals when they go to kill millions
In the name of nations or in the name of races
Think of the world wars first and second
And count in your fingers the deaths and devastation
They bought upon us, upon our humanity
I am here to declare a Jihad against those who are to say
Peace is not profitable but war is
And national interest is above anything else
Rather than the interest of human being
I am also against those hypocrites who say
Nuclear weapons are meant for peace
Nothing can be more bull shit than this
Do you agree with me?
Shall we meet in a corner of lighted street?
Or are you from the same group of garbage nationalist?
Any difference of opinion from you is the answer
And yet I will not hate you
Kindly from me take the unbreakable promise.

Self Criticism

Perhaps I was wrong
I should not have done those
And said the things which did nothing good
Neither for me nor for them
Instead, a great damage had been done to all
For the longer run, for longer relationships
I should have understood that
They have all sentiments just like I have
They get hurt as I get
I should have restrained
From winning debates
No prizes I win from their defeats
But I keep losing their hearts
Above all, I should have respected
Their honour and dignity
And recognized that they are too
Or belong to the race called human being
By no means has any one fetched
Humiliations and disrespect
Unconditionally I offer my apology
For my past misconducts
As well as for my misjudgments
In advance.

Phenomenal Man

Phenomenal Man

I do not have a size normally a model does
Nor have I in my face two wonderful eyes
Yet people come to me in a surging wave to see a wonder
What I perform everyday on my stage
You may cast doubt
But I am telling you I never tell a lie
I write poems and tell them without uttering a single word
They trail my speech which I could not shout out
Like the keen eyed men trail a rainbow
When I show them how I cook the flooding flickers of my emotions
I am a poet, I am magical
A magically magical poet
that's me .

Dumb by birth
Yet people come to me to see a wonder
My stage is full of indelible ink and
I go to paint my tangled joys and sorrows upon the cloud
People go blistering around when I show them
How to draw without using any brush
They take them as dream and trail them like horizon
I am a painter poet
A magically magical poet
that's me

I am born without hands
Yet people come to me to see my magical works
Around me they gather in a surging wave
And I go to sing my miraculous song
Believe me they go hysterical around in delight
When I sing them with my single magical word’ aw’
Such a lyrical poet I am
A wonderful man
A wonder of all wonders what I am.

A Tribute To Nelson Mandela

By applying policies of apartheid
Or practising racial discrimination
Who want themselves or their clan
To be seen above than the rest of the world
People of this globe throw them down

But the man instead of pulling himself up
Bring up all in the line of equality
People of this globe push his stature above
Much more than the rest of humanity
Showing for him unprecedented respect and love.

Human Sacrifice

The place where I live is a damp swamp space
Here not only live human beings
But also live cockroaches, mosquitoes and flies
India is her name
If I go more specific then it is called west Bengal
Around me is only
Heap of mud, dust and dirt
Along with some liars, traitors and hypocrites
Strange, peculiar and odd things always happen
Most bewildering thing in this place is their mind
So superstitious are they
If you listen to their beliefs your head will start to spin
Take only one here,
They banned the cow slaughtering
As they think it is a great sin
But human sacrifice is not bad enough to be stopped
Rather still they believe
Human sacrifice could bring them a huge fortune.

Your Mother

The women who you call your mother
She is not necessarily the same for me
I am her faithful brother –in- law
So by the relation i am your lovely uncle
And you are my cute nephew
Please, don’t ask me to worship her.
