Darcy Thomas Poem
To the freaks and the goners
I say we raise a glass
To the lonelies and the loners
The weirdos and outcasts
To us freaks, the ones who still stand,
The ones who no matter what,
Never say "I can't"
To the ones who sit alone at lunch, the ones with no friends
The ones who never give up
Who know it's not the end
To the cast downs and broken hearted,
The beaten and the bruised
The ones who think they're ugly,
And will never know the truth
The ones witch aching chests
The ones who know it's okay to cry
The ones who stand alone
And believe all the lies

Darcy Thomas Poem
Hold my hand and tie a noose
Close your eyes and let hang loose
Watch the world fall out of sight
And darling, hang with me tonight

Darcy Thomas Poem
The emptied bottle's contents
Are swirling down the drain
But when tomorrow comes
She'll pay with pills and pain
Her meager meal is forgotten
Flushed down the greedy pipes
But when tomorrow comes
She'll just go on to cuts and stripes
The cigarettes are gone now
"Im gonna quit I swear"
But when tomorrow comes
Those words were never there
The drugs are in the trash bin
The needles thrown away
But when tomorrow comes
She'll play a whole new game
The razors in the dumpster
Awaiting tomorrow's hurt
Because when tomorrow comes
The promises are worth as much as dirt

Darcy Thomas Poem
She walks along the empty beach,
She looks over the ocean, what does she?
She sees a ship sailing by,
But alas- just a trick of her eyes
A single tear drips down her cheek
And hits the sand beneath her feet.
The sea breeze ruffles her linen gown
And draws her to the water, the water to drown.

Darcy Thomas Poem
A cemetery under the sea
A safehold for just you and me
Together we'll drown in the piano keys
While melodies fill our lungs as we sleep.
A battle fought as one into the night
Screaming at the top of our lungs for the
sky
Standing our ground despite the fading
light
Begging for forgiveness as we fall through
time.
For the last time I will say goodbye
And have a march into water for the ones I
left behind.

Darcy Thomas Poem
Toss and turn below the sky
Staying up again tonight,
While heartache ails the weary mind
And walks along the narrow line,
Afraid to move afraid to fall
To close my eyes and risk it all.
Dreams can come and dreams can go
But where they start I'll never know.
So strike up a match and light my eyes
Heat the thoughts and let them rise,
Drop the bombs to take the risk
To grant an insomniac her wish.

Darcy Thomas Poem
Give me your heart,
I'll give you mine
No it's not broken,
My heart is just fine.
Give me a heart,
Replace mine with yours
No it's not broken,
It's just kind of torn.
Give me a heart,
I have none left
Mine fell apart,
And left me for dead.
Give me a heart,
I'll take good care
No I'm not crying,
I'm happy I swear!
Give me a heart,
I'm broken inside
I fell like nothing,
Like I've already died.
Give me a heart,
Something to hold
As my breath starts to cease
And my death unfolds.
