Michael Williams Danso Poem
THE END
A stolen glance
A sincere smile
A confused stare
A returned smile
...........................The beginning
A sincere heart
Seeking TRUE love
But a friendly stare
Sincere chat
None would dare
............................The Continuation
A rise in emotions
Distant communication
Sincere feelings
A sincere smile
A sincere heart
Vanishes to thin air
Just like that...
.......................The End

Michael Williams Danso Poem
I
Write
I Write
I Choose to Write
Because in writing I can share feelings never felt
In writing I can live dreams dreamt
In writing I express emotions felt and feared
I can feel high, no need for weed
Just sincere expressions only expressed through my thought to my fingertips
For every pain U caused me, I just choose to write
Because in writing, I release my uncontrollable anger
And offend no one, just a pad, a keypad, my keyboard and my touch screen
I
Wrote
I wrote of my victories and failures
Wrote about those sweet times
The bitter sweet
The ugly
Ups and Down
Rejections
Appreciations
Heartbreaks
Breakthroughs
I wrote in an attempt to fix the wrong
Even though I have never been right
So for all these moments I kept writing
And I wrote
And narrowed my pain to none
Just a Pad, a keypad, my keyboard and my touch screen
I have Written
And for all those moments I wrote
I built a virtual relationship with myself
In writing , I shared my pain
Celebrated my gains
The Rise and fall
And how I kept rising after every fall
All this I shared
With none but myself
I have written
Because I wrote
And I would write
Because,
I just choose to Write.....

Michael Williams Danso Poem
I have written a poem
Bourne out of the deepest core of my reality
A poem written out of fear
Fear suffered out of pain
Pain as a result of a bitter past
I have written a poem of how the African gracefully broke the chains of slavery
And also a poem of how even in independence, the African survives on Charity
This poem I wrote
Holds the keys to a doors of hope for a better tomorrow
A tomorrow who's yesterday is today
A today filled with blurred visions
Blurred visions of a tomorrows of hope
This poem would make a difference
This poem would change the sequence
This poem would ignite resistance
But this poem wouldn't breed disobedience
So don't think its all fashion when you see my eyes locked 24/7 behind shades
Because it might just be my own way of hiding my vision from the lights of shattered dreams
The dreams of yesterdays hope
A hope still being hoped against hopes of tomorrow
But until then, I just have a dream
A dream achieved fully in writing
So I have written a poem
And this is the poem I wrote
...
