Your many worries, your greatest fears 
The lonely nights, your many tears
The saddest moments, your happy days
Your many journeys traveled different ways
Leaving behind earthly things
Don't fret now you Got Your Wings.

Your tons of desires, your selfless acts
The sleepless nights, the lovely facts
Your fulfilled life, our dying hearts

Got That Good Good

To love and claim something that doesn't belong to you
Happens a lot in this world, so what's a girl to do?
You approached me with your lies and all of your charm
Telling me I'm your one and only, there was no cause for alarm
I thought I had the good good and I was your only one
Quickly did I learn that you were only out to have fun
I started to catch feelings and wanted you for myself 
That was never on your mind, you're only capable of loving yourself
You did all the right things to get me I must say
You're here today, gone tomorrow, how do you pass your time away?
I know that you are chasing more skirts than I can count
As long as I am one of them, who cares about the amount
I know I got the good good and it always prevail 
I am chasing you now my dear and I promise not to fail
So you just keep on chasing skirts cause right here I shall be
Loving and claiming something that will never belong to me
You have made it known in your heart, I shall not be found
As long as I got that good good, you will forever be around
You see I know I'm loving and claiming someone who will never love me

The Secret Garden

Our many worries, our greatest fears
The lonely night, the many tears
Our saddest moments, our happy days
Our journeys are traveled in different ways
In the secret garden nothing can compare
To the love and trust we often share
There aren't any temptations anywhere
In the secret garden no sins are there
Our tons of desires, our selfish acts
The sleepless nights, the twisted facts
Our empty lives, our dying hearts
Our lives are over before they start
In the secret garden I can surely see
The loving person inside of me
There aren't any flaws in this place
Just mounds of love no disgrace
The secret garden helps me to see
Just how perfect my life could be
With a smile upon my face
I open my arms to accept his embrace
He welcomed me into his arms
Reassuring me there is no harm
No harm in praising in his name
For his love is eternal there is no shame
To have such shame is not a pleasure
The love of our Lord one cannot measure
For he will always be around

Friends

A friend can be your best asset or your worst decline
They can stab you in the back or hold your place in line
They  have your back in times of need or can turn their backs on you
Silly you games are for kids and see saws were made for two
Friends are there in times of sorrow and for happiness
I want a friend to hold me down, i will not settle for less
There is no need for backstabbing, i will never do that to you

I Feel Like

I feel like a bird whose wings have been clipped
Unable to fly, life has been ripped
I feel like a boy unable to sprint
Cause he lost his legs in an accident
I feel like a girl afraid to dance
Due to low self esteem she wont give it a chance
I feel like a man who lost his wife
Scared of loving again too afraid of life
I feel like a wife whose husband is gone
She doesn't know how to start over or how to move on
I often feel like I am floating on air
I don't want to come down, I like it up there
I often feel your presence near
I always knew that you were here
My faith in you has kept me grounded
A love like yours is quite unfounded 
No other mans love could ever measure
A love like yours I will always  treasure
I live, laugh and love as hard as I can
For tomorrow is not promised to me or any man.

Tribute To Mom

You've always treated me with such respect and care
You have always been here for me when no one else was there
You're one of my hardest critics, always eager to lend a hand
Explaining to me when things are tough in a way I can understand
I know raising me wasn't easy but you did it with such grace
Always there for me no matter what with a smile or frown upon thy face
You inspired me to write this and to believe in all I do

Mirror

When i look into the mirror, i see an unfamiliar face
The one thats looking back at me has taken anothers place
I tried to figure out just where she came from
I stood there glancing in the mirror feeling rather dumb
So i asked her the question, How did you get here?
She said i came from within you cause you needed me my dear
I asked her why i needed her and to my surprise
She said she was there to heal the hurt she saw within my eyes
I turned to her and asked just what you plan to do
She said she planned to turn my current grey skies blue
I turned to her once more and asked, How did i lose my way
She said i took a wrong turn on a cloudy day
I looked into the mirror and gave her one more glance
I asked the lord to save me and give me one more chance
Just as i uttered the words, i was me again
No more hurt, no more tears and definately no more pain.

How Can I Trust You

How can I trust you my dear with my precious heart
When in the past all you did was rip it all apart
So many nights I spent crying so many tears 
Blaming myself for all of our troubles for way too many years 
I prayed to God to give me strength to hold our family together
To give me sunshine in the rain,to make our lives better
Although we made it through the tough times, I find it hard to trust
You have to prove I can trust you my dear and that's a must
I gave you all my love and you threw it all away
I'm afraid to trust you my love, what more can I say?
How can I trust you once more with my precious heart?
I gave it to you once and you tore it all apart 
It took me a long time to find the love inside me
I was blinded by your lies, I could no longer see
You have to understand trusting you will take time
I cant give you the trust you want at the drop of a dime
You see you broke something that's going to take time to heal

Heavenly Father

My heavenly father im on bended knees
Praying for forgiveness, begging you please
Asking you to forgive all the wrong i've done
Thanking you for the treasures i've lost and ones i won
I'm praying for you to show me the right path to take
I've taken many wrong paths, mistakes i did make
I'm praying for  health and prosperity, for mine is not the best
I'm asking this just for me, I'm not focused on the rest
I pray for you to bless me lord and keep my family strong
I prayed for your forgiveness when i have done wrong
I never ask for money for you will make a way
Instead i thank you for allowing me to see the light of day
I need you in my life lord, a sinner i cannot be
I need your blessings and your love daily to carry me
I'm praying for you to show me which road i should take
My gps keeps getting me lost,many u-turns i must make
Help me lord to be all i can be
To believe in everything, not only what i see
I'm gonna close my prayer by saying this to you

Missing You

Although its only been a few days
Our house just not the same
No late night tv shows or hearing you calling my name
I awaken to dead silence without you in our home
I don't hear your late night creeping, I have missed hearing you roam
I miss the sound of your laughter and warmth of your embrace
Most of all my love, I miss your smiling face
I cant wait till your return, I hate when we're apart
I'm lonely and missing you from the bottom of my heart.
