Path We Persue

Life as understood by many resembles a journey traveled in a daze.
yet you feel lost, we can't help but carry on.
As we travel up the hill not knowing whats on the other side,
where the next curve begins, when to speed up,
or when to slow our pace.
Even as it seems at times we are blindfolded at very least,
human nature tells us to keep pushing through.
our best interest at that time is to put the path of life on hold,
and asses our situation. Even if common sense makes you believe it would be difficult
or even impossible to resume the path started so long ago.
When it all seems impossible or hopelessness stares you in the eye.
Now is the time to grasp our greatest tool in life, just as God said let their be light.
let our light be the knowledge and support of your friends & family.
Use this and not even the devil himself can use his power and influence to corrupt us.
When we have 100% faith in ourselves combined with love for all that is good and pure.
And the hope that our destiny is not being pursued in vain.
Only positive results are to be found.
If u reach hard towards your soul and gather the will to strike down all that is negative.
Then and only then do the clouds disperse the sun becomes radiant
and all becomes clear. And the realization that our goal is in our grasp once again.
so before i put this pen down and carry on with my quest of surprises
and not knowing whats to come.
a prayer has been said guidance has been asked,
and a sense of relief is then achieved.

Lions True Blue

A die hard fan I have been. Remember thinking, 16 games 17 weeks, even the Lions will pull off a win. Preseason champs yes we might of been. But 0-16 meant a lot more my friends. That year is gone and history has been made. But as for my fan-hood it shall never fade. I've stomped through the bad waiting for the good. Draft another W.R., you really think we should? Memories of number twenty, how he'd Barry the pride of the D. He's the greatest King, but more yet he's the Legacy. So what we haven't seen the playoffs since the year of 99. The roar has been restored with Detroit City feeling floored. Another trip to the red-zone w/ options unlimited. What number you think claims the most Detroit fitted? Two arms go up as they see the corner route. Jump ball to eighty one, so easy it's fun. When the linebacker bites at LeShoure and the smash. Hit Pettigrew in the middle, you been played like a fiddle. As the D.B's seem overwhelmed when Stafford takes helm. The most heart in the game, our Iron man puts your Q.B. to shame. Now to turn to the D, what do we see? Delmas w/ a pick 6 from 103. As Fairley and Ezekiel sit stalking there prey, looks like Suh just stomped your last hopes, on this very day. Like Hanson's dedication, a Lions roar is what I'm saying. All the cheese heads realize this, pasteurized to the Superbowl we go. No doubt we will finish our goal. Finally a man named Schwartz has took control. Please all of you fans that have been TRU , join me now in a, HEY GREEN BAY **** YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom

All my ups and downs.

Every smile n every frown.

All my lies you believed.

With the tears I made you bleed.

Through and through a mother always was you.

And me a son with actions not so true.

While lack of saying I Love You........brought only regrets.

Everything that you do will never allow me to forget.

So on this day dedicated to you are those words that I always felt,

but more yet rarely ever said.

Thank you MOM for being you.

And if I shall ever forget to say these words.

Always remember..................

I LOVE YOU!

Give Peace a Chance

When you look in these eyes, what is it if anything do you see?
When my words are spoken do they make you think, or do you not take a second glance?
The fact that i care, should or does it make you think I AM WEAK?
Are you better maybe more important than the eyes that stare back?
Why must you take the time to think of everything i write?
Do my words weigh more power than your thoughts?
Is it possible that you are confused and not positive of the contents of this poem?
Take a second glance of all i have put on your shoulders.
Read & reread what has been written.
Think and rethink all that bounces in your mind.
Do not answer any questions that you see,
for the answers that you seek are not asked in this rhyme.
But none the less guidelines for the week.
This was not meant to confuse or break you down.
But more the less push you to see all that should be seen.
This one time take that second glance..............
AND TAKE THIS POEM AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE!

The One

Held I have the ONE, now I believe. Every tender kiss the ONE, finally loneliness cease to be. When love is made the ONE, she's the only one I need. Life before the ONE never felt complete. The ONE I always wanted, her life always before me. Knowing she feels the same, brings me only to my knees.

Gone Not Forgotten

As I gaze out at all of Mike Heany's friends and family I can't help but realize that there is nothing I can say that every one doesn't all ready know about the one Mr. Mike Heany. One thing I can tell you about Mike I can't say about another soul I know simply is this. The man never had one thing bad to say about any and all of us. It didn't matter what people said. Who was doing what. Where you have been or where you were heading in life. All that mattered was that you were chilling w/ Mike at that point and time, making memories that would be never forgotten. Me myself have a few that will stay close too my heart. Even though I don't understand why he has been taking from us. I am thankful that god has blessed me w/ the opportunity to have shared my life w/ Mike. And now I say good by to him, and say thanks to god........Now I have one more angel who has my back and his name is MIKE HEANY!

I Have Felt Love

Me and you means love full of passion. The two of us always will be everlasting. Can't get enough of what u give, and how you heel w/ just a kiss. N how I loved the way you took control as your eyes pierced my soul. Now I need you, need you more than ever before. I found my girl in you, as for me the search for is no more. With you right by my side I can't help but feel pride. Us together will always be on my mind. If your Bonny,..... then I'm Clyde, lets ride. You have my back, In return I give you my soul. Simply put time w/o you means my reason for life, like the quote of the raven, never more. Though some don't understand, and some probably never will. All that matters is, as my love for you is constant,.......... so is my respect for all that you do. These words you read are real, I'm trying to show in depth how I feel. That night I cherished when two came together and made one. Then your head on my chest all night w/ you in my arms. Reality came w/ the sun and the haze. My arms turned cold as you turned and walked away. I had a smile for weeks but with it a sigh. It left me asking why not me.....why never this guy?

No Second Guessing

Though I don't see him nor hear him. I can feel his push and guidance.
Each step mirrors a path we have already traveled.
Even though it is new to us, it has been etched in stone, waiting for us to continue on and permanently keep the bigger plan in action. We might not understand it, but we are all a single piece of the puzzle. Our piece is already made waiting for our moment to come, and our legacy forever in place. Push others and walk stride for stride with them. Learn to listen, take advice and give it as well. Cause our next step could be our last pace.
