Reopening of the School

First day to school is very good for children like us, very cool.
We meet our new friends and old one’s too,
But we don’t know we should catch whom.
Children are excited to know the teacher,
As they need a good future.
We come to know the rules of school,
So that we do not work according to us like fools.
We share our tiffins and tell our feelings,.
We ask last year’s percentage ,
To know whether the child is of good stage.
We give our introduction lovingly,
So that everyone may know us clearly.
There is nothing to study much as its first day, full of fun.
We go home hand in hand ,
To remain life long friends….

Grand Parents

GRANDPARENTS!!!To talk with grandma,
it feels little surprised,
She sits there on a silly old chair, tapping her feet.
She is weak and looks very thin,
it makes me sad to see her so,But that life is brought to her by a terrible low.
To walk with grandpa, it feels very funny,
His steps are small as ours.
He never says hurry up, he always takes his time.
He is the person genius in games.
Grandparents have different supply of special stories.
Yet, they have time to wipe our tears and make us laugh.
We can share moments of our life,As extra measures of their love…

WE SHOULD BE THANKFUL TO GOD WHO GAVE US SUCH A WONDERFUL GIFT OF GRANDPARENTS!!!

For My Dear Grandpa Who Recently Passed Away Due To Sickness

U were my Friend, U were my Guide,
How much I love U and how much I care,
Is too much to describe.
U’ve always been my Hero,
U’ve always been my Pride.
U’ve given so much Love
And shown what’s deep inside.

U made me smile,
U made me laugh,
U gave me sweets,
U gave me money.
U gave me every little thing U had.

Tears streamed down my face when I saw U that way.
I love u Bhaau and I’ll love U every day.
V did a lot together throughout the years.
I want U to know,
I will never let U go!
I know U loved me too
And my heart will always be with U.

It was U who set me free.
U were a man of unbendable steel.
Death may have taken your body,
But it did not take U.
And the love that V share,
Even the death can’t take through.
I can feel U and I know U can see me.

My heart is full of love
And my soul is all delight.
U were the one who sang me to sleep
And whispered Nighty-Nights.

If U R listening, say a prayer for me every day.
Be sure to protect me and guide me on my way.
I know when God called U, U had to go.
But I want U to know, I miss U and I love U so.

And now I would like to thank the good Lord above,
For blessing me with adorable U with lots of kindness and love.
Dear God, if it is not too much Fuss,
Please take extra care of my dear grandpa,
As he is very dear to us.

Now it’s time to say goodbye,
Until I see U again someday when I die.
Please keep showering your blessings throughout my life,
Oh my dear Bhaau, may your soul rest in peace there above!!!...

Global Warming

GLOBAL WARMING!!!

Global warming! Isn’t it hard to explain???
It leaves our mother Earth crying in a terrible pain,
It makes the earth hot, which seems like a burning pot.
Global warming would harm the earth,
And mother nature could not give birth.
Green plants would loose their beauty and,
Our waters would look like drains.
Could you imagine not seeing any grass???
We would see the land mass!
Life like this is caused by this monster, “Global warming”.
Are we out of control with our oil spills???
I think we must fear!
The factories are not listening to what we have to say,
But we children can save the Mother Earth.
So, start playing smart and do your part,
Life might not end,
If you are Mother Earth’s friend!!!
                                                                                                                                                                         -NISHITA KARULKAR.

Exams

EXAMS!!!
Exams , Exams and Exams!!!
Exams are the time of fear,
Exams are full of tensions.
It is the time to study different subjects,
Sometimes Hindi, sometimes English,
Sometimes Math and sometimes Science.
Hindi is difficult because of Matras,
English is complicated because of the Grammar,
Science is hard for learning theories,
And Math is problematic to solve the problems.
Children are nervous but yet, solve the paper,
Till they day of results they are under the fear of their Mothers,
After results, some have smiles on their faces and ,
Some have tears in their eyes,
But, nothing to worry,
There are many ways to progress in life.
Exams, a stress of mind.
Exams, days when all are tired,
But, nothing to worry,
Live the life without any fear.

Mental Health

MENTAL HEALTH!!!

What is Perfection???
Is it just the other’s Expectations???
Rather, it is Self-satisfaction!
Today, there are many who aren’t perfect,
And are worried anout their self-respect.

They are turning fatal,
Because we people have taged them “Mental”.
Is is just because of their abnormal behavior?
That they are treated and ignored so severe?
Or is it just that they can’t express,
And we Are always there to supresss???

It makes me sad to see them so,
Such life is bropught to them by a terrible low!
People need to change their perception,
And treat those for gratification!

The worls assumes the word “mental” very negatively,
And the awareness about its health should be spread positively.
I wish to see the change in coming tomorrow,
And pray to see no sorrow!
Life has given us chance to be brave,
So, use the chance and be great!

                                                                                                       -NISHITA KARULKAR

A Poem Dedicated To a Recent Victim of Rape

Our dear sister, yes sweety this is for you.
Thinking about you and the situation you've been through,
I felt an strong urge of putting my emotions into words for you!

Don't give up hope, do believe.
The memories wont leave,
but let those memories be your guide,
little angel, please keep up with your pride.

I know,
you are much more stronger than you know.
It has become your past,
but you can overcome all this very fast.

Don't stop trusting people,
all men aren't bad.
Just realize that these devils were of terrible minds!

You're the strongest of us all,
because you've been through so much,
and yet didn't fall.

Yes, what they did was totally wrong,
they'll not be forgiven even by God!
They have lost their RIGHT to be called as "man",
and they'll be cursed every now and then.

People are asking the official,
"where have your rules been?"
After all, this dirt should obviously be dumped in a bin!.

My dear, today the whole world is with you,
all very eager to see a new personality in you.
Surely, those men are going to get what they deserve,
here, all of us waiting to see you stand up dear.

I, finally want you to know,
you are strongest and the bravest lady I've ever known,
ans so, we would all like to wish you a hearty,
"Get well soon" and come back stronger than before.

                                                              -NISHITA KARULKAR.

Mother

MOTHER!!!
A person full of Love,
A person full of Care,
A person fully energetic,
Is everyone’s favorite and she is-
MOTHER, MOTHER and MOTHER.
Sleeping on her laps is like dreaming in wonderland,
Eating by her hands makes the food more tasty,
Beatings by her is like “Love of anger”!
A person who is known as the first teacher,
A person who is known as GOD,
A person who gave birth to whole world,
Is everyone’s favorite and she is-
MOTHER, MOTHER and MOTHER.

                                                                       -NISHITA KARULKAR.
