Emotions of Love

Emotions of Love

The way the breeze wisps,
gently through the leaves of a tree,
And caresses a birds wings,
while it soars in flight.
\The way the morning sun kisses,
the dew on the fields of clover,
And caresses the blossoms,
of the flowers in bloom.
\As each of these
is caressed and kissed
with warmth and love.
Is the way you make my soul feel....
and I know baby,
You were sent to me from above

America, Remember

America, Remember

Here I stand with emotions over sweeping.
Flooding through my soul and being.
Tears flood my eyes and stream down my face.
As I look upon, His saving grace.
A soldier beside me, only on leave.
Mourning a comrad. How I feel him grieve.
His bravery and valor floods my soul.
Of what he gives freely, America is fooled.
I support you my brother and lift you to God.
For only He knows, the soils you have trod.
I give my thanks and I praise His name.
For all like you giving America her name.
God Bless you all from sea to shining sea.
God give us Liberty and let us remain Free.
One Nation Under God and In God I trust.
It is important for America to remember.
Or This great nation will turn to dust.

Existing

Have you ever experienced a day, when it seemed like you just did not exist?
A time when you were actually a passenger in a truck or car with someone at your side?
And as you were aware of every breath you took and the scenery before your eyes of God’s beautiful creation…. You still did not feel that you existed.

Today was a day that was like that for me.
I rode beside my husband in his truck and God’s astounding beauty I certainly did see.
Then the devil started belittling me in my mind as his imps whispered in my ear.
I adjusted my Helmet of Salvation knowing the end is surely near.

I was struck with fierce blows as I sat there today.
I silently talked to Jesus, for I know He is the way.
I have recently been accused of things which I have not done.
I choose to stay silent and stand for God and choose not to run.

My mind was tortured by the untruths that were told.
As the imps kept whispering in my ears.
But God knows the truth and knows my heart.
Behold enemy satan… I do not fear.

God is in control of every breath I take
And every beat of my heart.
When I can not stand, I will kneel…
I know exactly where to start.

God hides my soul, in the cleft of a Rock.
Against all these schemes I will survive.
The battle was waged and Victory was took.
God definitely wins…. How do I know?
I have read the end of His Book.

So the next time you feel as you do not even exist
And feel like a ghost and not even seen.
Just say the name Jesus…. And never be afraid.
On Him you can fully lean.

I pray God has blessed you as you have read these very few words.
And if you think He won’t, then think again my friend,
Because my prayer for you He has already heard.

Doctors

I have been waiting for so very long,

for the appointment I had today.

I was hoping for a diagnosis,

every single night I would pray.

Helping people reach wellness goals,

And at times praying for one more breath,

I bonded with patients,

And many families, whom were awaiting death.

I look back at my life,

and see how very many things have changed.

Mostly not for the better,

As many lives and struggles have waned.

Many people can pick up a pen

and paper, creating beauty in words.

Rasping life's tranquility.

I know. I have heard.

So how hard must it obviously be?

To diagnose and treat people you see?

For they have put their trust in you.

Your name is spoken in their prayers.

They are placing their life and well being, Gently in your care......by Lori Lynn

Doubt

Doubt

We all have had days that we have doubted in God.
No matter how good we are or the streets that we trod.
But the next time one of those doubts crosses your mind.
Take a step back and think of how God was there all the time.

Do not dwell on your pains or your losses.
The devil loves it when one is confused by life’s choice of bosses.
The devil loves for us to run two and fro…..
Preventing us from seeing God, don’t you know.

Set your eyes and heart on higher ground.
Praise only God and do not give the devil a sound.
Love everyone with true love from your heart.
No matter the pain that you might feel in your heart.

Take a look at your hands. You will see no nail scars or names.
But God loves us all so much and loves the sinners just the same.
God tells us to love the sinner yet to hate the sin.
So we must pray for those that hurt us and this is where we all must begin.

The next time you find you are facing a trial and your doubt starts to creep in.
Offer up a prayer of praise and let God keep you from that sin.
For each trial we face, whether we walk or crawl through.
God is always there and He so much loves you.

God did something, that I am not sure I could do.
I am not sure, if my only son I would send to die for you.
He loved us all before we were even born.
The devil only wants for us the name of God to scorn.

So please my dear friend, in your moments of doubts.
Offer up your prayers of praise and He will show you what it’s about.
It is okay to tell God just exactly how you feel.
And in your next breath, you will know that God is real.

I am not perfect and I do not claim to be.
But I truly believe in God,
And know that one day,
His Face I shall see.

Armor On

I do not know what tomorrow does hold,
But I know to have no fear.
For no matter what trials pass my way
I know that Jesus is so very near.

Yesterday I wore my battle dress
And today I wore it too.
For you see time is short,
And the enemy is after me and you.

I have a deep peace within that I give thanks for every day.
No matter the turmoil or the burdened load I carry,
There soon will be a wedding day
And the Church the Christ child shall marry.

I am ready for that feast as we sing the triumphant songs.
I will be pleased to sing and shout with you,
On the streets that we both belong.
